more or less similar to the other one, except that he said here that he  missed attentat because he dated a dancer without knowing they did not have that right so koffi suspended him since he also liked her since her test, and then sent somebody to take her to abort since she was pregnant of jf then fired her(and now unfortunately she is dad) and revealed that the group he wanted to perform in before joining latino was bcbg(which his other close friend jdl ended up joining on his advice)
and that the reason why most guys look like that they have dropped big time when they leave leaders is because the power of the leader was effective on them apart from the things they do themselves for success(then some upgrade their power to suceed in solo longterm),and he remembered an anecdote of him and his close friend depitcho when they left quartier latin they meet a fan at restaurant and tried to get him to pay their food bill( a very very common trick until today by musicians) and he laughed and said should i pay for you you left quartier latin you are nothing anymore and they said they joked and paid

I would like to know wich dancer that he hung out with

Personally i dont think depitcho is a bad singer. He have his « niche » (or debaba’s niche lol) but his vocals on ddv & attentat and on el paris suff are pretty cool, its just not « ordinary ».
But jf is a faux chanteur

Will have to check this out. I'd also like to see an interview with her brother Ridens Makosso about his relatively short stint in QL

Well, it wasn’t that short. I think he was there frome 96 to 2001 (like champion) but he only participated on 2 albums (attentat/bercy & force de frappe). He also one of the musicians who prepared effrakata.
I didn’t knew he was older than her.

Everything is going digital due to technology. Surprisingly, vinyl has popped up again.

Yes & no. If I want to buy an old notorious big album, or m.jackson, 2 pac, dr dre, eminem, Johnny Hallyday or barry white cd, i can’t find it. The case of congolese music is about the fact that due to combattants, a lot of specialized cd shops closed

Good times. Nowadays, there are hardly any music shops in London if I remember well, but there are probably only a few in Paris and Brussels. You can still get the physical CDs online but it will never beat buying one in a shop.

In Paris neither online or outside,
Château Rouge used to have some cd shops where u can buy anything you want but all of those closed, now it’s clearly impossible to find it. Great years of congoleses music are behind us unfortunately
