That's embarrassing, what is his staff doing? He should know when and where his upcoming concerts are, otherwise what's the point of interviews promoting your album? Lmfaoo

Congolese Music / Re: CONGRATULATIONS FERRE GOLA

I Think i neglected that cousteau song because of too many songs( still never finished 13eme apotre for  example lol) but really good song, and tolbert solo did a good job on the cd version

When albums flop, do donors get mad? What's the point of getting a dedication if no one bothers listening to the album.

good to see them together,i think this time so far fabro has calmed down on his gossiping lol

Did Fabro and Ibarator ever make peace? I recall they had a falling out, because Fabro started treating the day one people in his group like employees than friends. But they should of seen that coming, because JB Mpiana, Roga Roga and Werra did the same

Durrel Loemba is just Didier Masela always "kidiba" and being used. The way he explained how they started Extra Musica International shows that he's the true founder. However I don't think that the band would have the same impact if Regis Touba and Quetin weren't there. I think that Quetin indeed tried to get in Europe through Libreville but things not working out making him return to Brazzaville and join Extra Musica International. I'm sure the band would end up being that of Guy-Guy Fall if he ended by being the only singer coming from the former Extra Musica and dumping Durell Loemba in a later stage, like its always the case with him.

The way Roga explains Regis' departure from EM Zangul to join EM International is always like Regis left out from himself because of being "pressé" to become a leader, EM Zangul even going far that he ran away for Abilissi. But Durrel's part of the story sounds totally different and I think that he tells the truth, because there's no musician that would leave the band while having a trip to Europe. Regis was lucky that he was accepted in EM International although many being against for having betrayed them by following EM Zangul but the same camp leaving him and admin Pinochet Thierry behind in Abidjan as punishiment since that they were named among the guys who were about to create EM International. Roga and the rest of the band going to the US, Europe and recording of Etat Major.

I was surprised to hear that their succes in Gabon was that big that they ended up by performing at Stade Omar Bongo. I thought that their succes was just local and their trips to Gabon being for the  community coming from Brazzaville living there and private events for late Edith Lucie the wife of late Omar Bongo (she was the daugther of president Sassou Nguesso). Times have changed, nationalism is growing in all francophone african countries. I don't see any foreign musician fill Gabon's new national stadium

Durrel Loemba said that EM International had a 5 album/years-contract with late Simon Ndjonang's label SIPE Production. Isn't that maybe the reason why Quetin Moyascko wasn't able to release albums for years. Because Merci was released by himself QEMI Productions. Or did Durrel/Pinochet/Regis/Cyrille continue the contract under Z1 International ?

It seems that Quetin exactly knew what he was doing and manipulated the whole band to get them behind him. He played his cards really well. <<You suggest to your collegues to get full power of band like papa wemba, koffi olomidé and co. because of the way of arguing often about important decisions like the goodbye-concert. Your collegues hadn't decided yet about giving you the full power after the meeting and you know that they are preparing a show, but you decide to bring the main atalaku and drummer to the airport and call the admin to ask their opinion about bringing them to Europe with you, knowing that they will no.>> It must have been a bad experience to see in no time the whole band and whole quarter being against you with the pretext of being against the musicians going to Europe while it wasn't true. It's strange that the musicians themselves didn't discover that it was a whole complot because all their passeports had visa's when getting it back from the admin after asking it back with alot of anger. But what I don't understand was the story both Regis and Etats Unis told about the whole band going to Europe without informing Durrel, Regis, Cyrille & Pinochet and them being alone at the headquarter of the band or maybe Durrel forgot to mention it.

Looks like Durrel Loemba will never forgive Regis Touba for Z1 International's split. He's always tend to betittle Regis capacities when being asked about their split. On the other side I can understand him since that it killed his career and people stopping supporting them, the support in Brazza-music already being very hard

Do you think Guy Guy would do better with Extra Musica International or BCBG? In my opinion, he should of stayed patient because Blaise, Alain Makaba, and Aimelia were on the way out

yeah the one dressed in black when the rest is different she's the only kin dancer which made the last minute transformed list so they hired the rest to go with her

Is the lack of support from Clan Wenge due to jealousy? For example, Lacoste and others never had a long career like Bill and Ferre. As for Bill, we know he's difficult personality but I'm surprised Werra didn't show up.

Also, do Fally and Ferre actually have personal problems against each other or is it purely music? They're so talented and sound great together – I'm surprised a donor wasn't able to put up the kind of money for a duet song

He is not married yet or he divorced? Alandaka papa cheri na nionso.

their case is actually a bit similar, his longterm girlfriend/fiancee dumped him last year to go with a politician

Isn't he the same guy that was lied to about being the father of a child before Zenith of 1999? I remember reading that in his biography, but I'm not sure if that was ever resolved.

7
yes but he was not there that day so he did not get to show his animation, neither were some apparently who got recruited but are rotting in the absolute reserves so its only the familiar faces who got the chance to present something that day
What is the reason of testing and acquiring Atalakus t9 just then make them play in the reserves? It doesn't have any sense it is just a waste of money and sapce

I guess they function as workshop during rehearsals and private sessions, they give established atalakus some of their best cries to Genta and others in hope's that their time will come – first with concerts, then eventually vocals on albums. But as you'll see, Fusee and others fear losing their place because it took a while for them to get there in the first place.

you can tell celeo despite his voice being heavier is a hardcore zaiko fan,his name is literally a zaiko animation and that cnn and roi david worked with empereur nono in djonga for years
djouna is the GOAT,60 soon but the same voice

What's the secret to keeping your voice as an atalaku, especially for falsettos like Djouna and Somono? I wish Djouna would record another album, does he not know how appreciated he is?

Congolese Music / Re: OHHH AMBASSY LEAVING F VICTEAM?
« on: April 13, 2024, 14:51 »
Man what happened to F’Victeam? That project was the best Fally had. That was the right formula.
Fally simply doesn't care about having a string group, him alone is enough, tbh I don't know why he keeps all those people around when he clearly doesn't care take for example someone like Papy Komvo who enterwd late in Fally's groupin his 30s which is usually when you either become a big star after years of trying but falling (Burna Boy) or when you already were succesf  in your teens and  you reach your peak (Beyonce, Kendrick Lamar, Drake Kanye West etc.) To then leave at 51 which is almost an automatic suicide cause you are 51 so naturally young women won't even look at your direction and with guys of your age busy with other things and guys younger then you focus on other artist,  tbh I don't see any scope in keeping this group

True, Fally makes music for a hobby and his group is just an accompaniment. He proved himself in Quartier Latin, he confirmed his success as a solo artist, he proved himself as a crossover talent (his features on afrobeats and Sweet Life) and he managed a decent group with Libre Parcours – that hunger isn't there.

All of the important questions about his career has been answered, the music fuels his business and the rest is for his pleasure. The same with Ferre , although I feel like Ferre puts a bit more effort.

Congolese Music / Re: ROSSEN JOINS NOUVEL HORIZON

It seems Nouvel Horizon is becoming like Zaiko and BCBG, a retirement home for old talent or operation poto? Lol all jokes aside, I like that the group is giving past members a chance to organize themselves financially where in Zangul was a struggle due to Roga's ego.

« on: April 10, 2024, 20:19 »
Exactly thats why i dont agree with people questioning nouvel horizon for those leaving, what you just said plays a huge role in that, they have even staff members such as the maman presidente(which is a very crucial role)  who have switched to roga and literally one of the external co-founder rostel bakwa who was in studio with those who ran away in europe
Sonor must be livid why all of a sudden lot of people are leaving Nouvel Horizon? I thought that given that they had a monthly allowance from Universal they were alright but as I have said before Universal is not a good muscolare label to sign to especially the deal Sonor made of that 360 deal

If I had to guess, it's possible that it is only the founding members of the Nouvel Horizon that likely receive a salary from Universal. Remember, the profit from streaming music is considerably smaller than physical sales which is why a lot of recording contracts are 360 deals.

Because the label doesn't eat big from sales, Universal need a percentage of the group's money from each concert and related sponsorship (their initial donor from Primus, they get a mention on their generique Choc).

It also doesn't help that Congo is poor country, the majority of citizens cannot afford to spend money regularly for concerts like they do in Europe, United States of America, Canada, and East Asia. That's why some Congolese artist are going the afrobeat direction, they're going where the money is...even if we don't like the music direction

Mmmm I hope his career will go well, but still to this day no F'Victeam offshot has ever been successful, tnh the group system is kinda dying, out of the Deplick, But Na Filet, Heritier, Fabregs, Ferre, Fally, Felix, JB,s Werra, and Koffi's group you only have Wenge MM (Fabregas, Deplick, Heritier, Bill etc.) Fally (QL) But Na Fillet(Fabregas) and then the rest total emptyness, which is sad but at the same time people can't listen and support everybody.

There's also a lot of sabotaging behind the scenes from the big teams to ensure spinoff groups don't survive. Also, it's prohibitively expensive to maintain a new group while recording an album and securing contracts for tours.

Why do musicians get involved in these things? Huge fan of Diddy but ruined his reputation with this. Whether true or not it’s best never to be involved.

People like Diddy do these things out of egotism. He's wealthy and powerful, so he shows off in front of people so that they know. That feeling you get when things go your way is very satisfying, but it's x100 when you're on that level

Not bad at all

It's never too late, look at Soleil and Karmapa. They found success later in life...

joss' love for wazekwa will "kill" him one day, despite the humiliations he's face during his return from musicians(especially champs elysee who has been promoted to chef d'orchestre) and from the brothers,he's out there calling one by one every member of the golden cultura generation to be in support of the concert and saying that he'll be there and he apologises on behalf of the guys
 apologizing for what?

They've been through so much together, I understand his loyalty. You're right though, it's an exhausting relationship
