Dr Nico’s reaction against Tabu Ley, after calling him disrespecting him in Likala Moto. Dr Nico reacting by saying that they know their witchdoctor and that Tabu Ley will never be better than him.

The title is in reality Palmares, it got released after Olympia.Tabu Ley disrespecting and dissing his mentor Grand Kalle Jeff, by saying that he’s finished. He made this song because he didn’t like the way Grand Kalle critized his show at Olympia.

Koffi Olomidé dissing Fally Ipupa, singing that he paid his schoolfees, but Fally changing his parents when graduating (refering to the way David Monsoh and Maïka Munan became his new mentors).

Koffi Olomidé attacking Fally very hard and even threatening him with the death

Nouvelle Generation dissing Papa Wemba, and singing at a point that Michael Jackson and Johnny Hallyday are better than him

One of the reasons why Koffi Olomidé recorded Andrada. Papa Wemba recording this song because of the way Koffi started to talk bad about him behind the scenes, ignoring him in interviews, etc.

Madilu attacking Lita Bembo for the way he snichted him to Franco and spread in Belgium, that he was the one who said that Franco had AIDS and that he was about to die.

Others said that Lutumba reacted against Madilu’s multiple shots in songs and the song l’Eau, other say that it was made against Carlyto Lassa who became a brother in Christ and iniated him, others say that it was made against Decca Mpudi and co who left.

Decca Mpudi and co dissing Lutumba Simaro after their departure.

Against Werrason

This was also seen as a diss towards Werrason, Serge Mabiala’s vocal was a hard attack.

This song was along with Malanda Ngombe a reaction to Papa Wemba. Here Koffi sings that Wemba has to stop with lying that he made him. Babia even going far with vocal that Papa Wemba forgot the amount of kids he has.

Wazekwa dissing Koffi Olomidé, after being dissapointed that Koffi said that he didn’t know Wazekwa.

This song was seen as a diss to Koffi, because he sung at a point that he brags about having studied, but that they have never seen his diploma’s and asking how times they will call him brother in law (for the way used to marry often, he dated journalist  Judith “Magic” Wawina & Helene Kalema).

Le Karmapa Bitu Djeni dissing Koffi Olomidé

Koffi dissing Aristote and Minou’s grandpa

Koffi dissing his own sister

Damn, Koffi a savage! He dissed his own sister? What she do? Lol

He is back, Werrason, his sponsors and a long list of donors and friends want to put up one of the best Zenith shows. They have spent months working on security details and marketing strategies. This show will be a get way to Olympia scheduled for 2022.

Werrason is in Europe and an image building team has been identified which will market his show and work on image building for his band members.

Werrason is working on bringing in a few new faces to beef up the show. On Atalukus, Jamaique is going but he is looking at having Bercy Mwana whose Wenge animations have not been presented in Europe. Other ideas include inviting Bill Clinton to perform along Jamaique. It remains to be seen whether Diego and Golbert will make it but the team wants proven crowd movers.

;D ;D Bill Clinton. Are you kidding me? As if Bill Clinton will perform at Bercy with Werrason. That is not going to happen nor Bercy or Diego. Is Diego actually a member of Wenge Maison Mere? I thought he was no longer a member, did he comeback or what? BTW, Bill Clinton will never return to Wenge Maison Mere. I hope Golbert will make it. He is a better animator than Jamaique. Jamaique is good but Golbert has more potential.

Agreed, Bill is too prideful and it would be a conceding to the rumors of a failed solo career. He could be a special guest performer, but nothing more

he says yes,but knowing fally  some thing he said wont make it too easy for him to stay, but then again kabuya has always had a special status so he might have it till the end or it will be broken
Do you think Boussole would have it hard to return too? Since he cemented his number 2 position as an atalaku before staying in Europe.

it depends of if something happened behind the scenes with fally,if its the case our man is pretty ruthless,do you still see iseboya for example
if there is no case then maybe he might return thanks to the cousin tag,but having papers is too tricky in our groups it ends up almost always developping some things with or without an instigator between leader and employee

A little off topic, but is Etat Unis still with Roga Roga? He didn't join Extra Musica Nouvel Horizon, but he hasn't participated in recent concerts for Roga Roga's new band. Is he going the solo route? And what happened to the atalaku at the beginning of this generique? He was phenomenal, I'm surprise he didn't have a long run with the group.

lets be honest golet had biggggggg shoes to fill not to easy, and maybe also the philosophy of the boss might not be the same, time will tell but it could either endup being a "symbolic" replacement like golet was or a real signal intent

Is Kabuya still with Fally?

May he rest in peace.

His poor mother must be devastated.  What a sad state of affairs.

Not really his father was the founder of banque du Kinshasa, the general director of Bralima (Primus) and Unibra (Skol) on the same time and creating many companies la Fiduciaire de Gestion (FIGES),lLa Société Zaïroise d’Exportation (SOZADEX.), a Société Kinoise d’Equipement Technique (SOKIDET), La Compagnie d’Exploitation de Mines (CODEMINES.), Transport des Marchandises et des Biens (TMB),  Fishing Trading Company (FITRACO), Entreprise de livraison des véhicules au Zaïre (ELVEZAIRE), La Distribution des cars (DISTRICARS), being one of the richest in Zaire before that Mobutu decided to ruin his empire.

DOKOLO's father was not that clean either. The Banque de Kinshasa (BK) opened because DOKOLO was close to the regime of Mobutu. Without Mobutu's approval and support, the BK would've never existed.  But the bank was using people's money to finance DOKOLO's activities and his associates' activities till the bank was seized by the government because it mismanaged depositor's funds. Till today there are cases pending of families attacking the Dokolo estate.

Even though the late Sindika DOKOLO came from a wealthy family, it's true that his wife plundered Angola.

This is why Africa can never advance, because we afford humanity and consideration to a plutocracy that wouldn't spit in our direction. It's really sad, but our people will learn...

Like father, like son. They're both crooks.

We're talking about HIS complicity in the dispossession of wealth from the Angolan people, not his hs father. Let's not pivot, you're better than that.

The pretext of his fortune is government corruption and nepotism, we cannot forget this. His family and closest friends should mourn his loss, not us.

REST IN PISS Dokolo

Gibson indirectly admitted to Ado yuhe that he did nkisi on paparazz, because Koffi préférer him above Gibson, to the point that Koffi left Gibson behind in Kin for an African tour and brought Paparazzi instead and during a concert Paparazzi started to lose his voice suddenly and couldn’t go high in notes and Koffi called his staff to bring Gibson to join them.

So that story of Koffi being surprised to find Jordan in Europe is true then? Because a few former members said that they were surprised when Jordan’s name was announced for the list of Bercy.
Man looking back it would’ve been better if Chikito went to Bercy, Mustapha performed very well but he disappeared not long after so it was just a waste and obviously look at him now, it just wasn’t worth it.

I don't think Chikito would fit in well in QL, that team was very strong in terms of looks, singing, and attitude. Jordan barely clung on because of being a good dancer and charisma

I don't know the name of the band and i don't think that they recorded an album or single

I'm assuming Ekokota gave some cries to Caludji cause he is credited on the Titanic generique. I believe his heart wasn't in Wenge anymore

Dede Djasco in Cameroon during the filming of Embargo generique circa 2000.

I was just thinking of him today because I was listening to Somunkiriye where he played on that song. Yeah that was nasty from Koffi, I wonder what happened. I hope Ado interviews him when he returns to Europe. At Bercy Clovis was perfoming with a big smile on his face and was even dancing along with CNN or the singers.
Koffi and other leaders are strange they moan about musicians running away in Europe but sometimes force them out or abandon them in Europe, that 2000 you had Depitcho, Jf, Mustapha, Deba O'Neil, Clovis and some of the dancers leaving the band all within a few months/week apart from each other.
Koffi also tried to abandon Jordan multiple times during that tour, I still wanna know why Mustapha and Deba left because their departures were so abrupt and unexpected but with Mustapha I don't think we'll ever really know just because given of the state he is now unless one of the other members reveal it.

Why did Koffi try to abandon Jordan during that tour? Was there an issue about money or was it the staff gossiping to Koffi to spoil his attitude towards Jordan?

@21 minute mark, He says when they went for the proclamation tour in Dakar, the producer paid them 1million CFA Franc (this was despite the fact that the producer still owed them money from the albums Correction and Embargo). So Jullien Antonio as the Chef of the group rebelled against the way the producer (who i believe is Denide Production) was not honouring his end of the contract. He even refused to take part in the clips of Proclamation. Thats how they suspended him for indiscipline and then the producer influenced Kevin Mbouande and Biraman to get rid of the founders and reconstitute the group with new recruits under the leadership of Kevin Mbouande but that they also suffered the same fate of the producer not properly paying them according to the contract.

He also talks about the death of Ziggy Moise the basiste (played bass in all 4 of Patrouille des Stars albums i.e. Obus Kanga Bissaka, Embargo, Corrections and Proclamation) who passed away and how Denide the producer wouldnt send anything for the funerals of Moise.

That explains a lot, I always wondered why Julien only appeared in two clips for the Proclamation. I'm assuming Waney Pecho left for the same reason, because he only appeared in the clip of the generique filmed in Dakar. His parts were interpreted in clips by dancer Moustapha Thuram.

Maybe they want to show that they are the real Extra Musica, like the way Zaiko Familia Dei with Ilo Pablo, Djerba Manzeku, Beniko Popolipo, Petit Poisson, Jimmy Yaba & Jose Piano Piano who made the Zaiko-rthym of 1982-1988. Claiming that they fired Nyoka Longo and that they were the real Zaiko. But they ended up by losing after multiple problems and leadership-wars and Zaiko winning. The Zaiko of Nyoka Longo developed their way of playing sebene by recruiting Shiro Vuemba who also entered the distortion sebene and adopting animations of Boketshu 1er who used to make folklore of the Mongo-tribe, while before 1988 when were mostly doing animations of the Humbu-tribe. Until this day Zaiko Nkolo Mbokonever changed the sebene-style that they started to play in the 1988-1992 era, only the animation who went more in the way of the Kongo-tribe folklore.

The difference of Extra Musica Zangul & Extra Musica Nouvel Horizon war about the is that, Sonor Digital didn't create the Extra Musica-rhythm. It was Roga Roga, Durell Loemba & Espe Bass and Sonor Digital being their understudy. Sonor Digital just need to create another style as guitarist to show his artistic maturity, otherwise he will stay in Roga Roga's shadow.

I suspect that Sonor is good guitarist, but not creative rhythm player. You'll notice a significant difference when Durrell used to play rhythm and when Sonor took over. It's like how Felly Tyson gets so much credit as a guitarist, but Ramazani and Lebou Kabuya are much more creative soloist.

@Mfumu Vata

After Long Histoire, was Kester able to put out another popular album or did people consider him finished? If he hadn't died, do you think he could recover his career?
