What happened to this album? I've heard the songs on it and it's beautiful. I just don't understand why it wasn't promoted or wasn't promoted well because the rumbas on the album is solid. Can someone explain to me what happened because even the album is nowhere to be found on apple Spotify, even Amazon told me there's nothing lol what happened ?

We've had so many beautiful albums from the 80s to now, I want to know which album is your number 1 and why.
It's interesting to see the years of the album chosen and who the artist is.

Can someone tell me the actuall year these two great songs came out?
I'm seeing people say the first one came out in 84 and the second in 85..
Then I'm seeing it's 85 and 86. In 1986 Carlito performed Maya with OK Jazz. I've seen that clip. But i don't know the actual years both songs were released respectively.
Plus I'm even surprised that Simaro managed to get Pepe Kalle on the song when Simaro is still a member of OK Jazz. Wouldn't this count as nzong-nzing? And would've made Franco upset?

I want to know how this group came about where these musicians are in life right now.

Can someone answer the following questions for me please.
1) brief background on how Modogo entered the congolese music scene?
2) what influence did he have in the music scene? I've heard that he's a great song writer but I think he contributed a lot more than songwritings. Maybe to do with clothes.
3) his relationship with King Kester. We're they friends before he started music or what? Because I've heard Kester shout Modogo's name few times in his songs. During Victoria Eleison days (original group, not dream team dream band)

Can someone please tell me when this album/LP came out ? And how they came about to record these brilliant songs? I can't work out the year but man I've loved this album since hearing it in my dad's car. Just want to know more about the history.

If ballon d'or was a Congolese thing, which Congolese artists would win it in which year starting from 1990 to now.
I want to see the list you lot come up with and I'm interested to see who has the most wins (think Koffi will have the most wins).

Can someone give me a link to Carlyto's bibliography or comment below how he started music and which groups he came through. I love that man's voice. He's in my top 5 voices I love. He's number 1 for me. Then id say Pepe Kalle. These are my top 7 in order of voices I love. But in order of whose singing voice is better is debatable. But Carltyo is number one for me no matter what.

3. Defao
4. Madilu
5. Ferre Gola
6. King Kester
7. Papa Wemba
Debaba really should be in this. Top 10 yes. Don't want to think that far.

Can someone list me in order which year the popular groups came out? For example I know OK Jazz was formed before Zaiko etc, but I'm fascinated to learn the years each bands came to existence and if possible, how they came about.

When I think about which group bands made stars, I think of Zaiko, OK Jazz and Viva La Musica. I'd probably say Zaiko did. Educate me if I'm wrong.
