From my investigation, Koffi has mentioned that February 2020 will month of the concert in this insta video! Could this be a clue?

I don't know what's taking longer. Brexit, or JB's album LMFAO. It's getting boring now.

Koffi might as well just become an Anime character hahaha

Only question is, why did Koffi credit Do Akongo as the songwriter for Tsiane on the PDFP album, when he pretty much wrote the song?

Congolese Music / Koffi Olomide - Onya (1979) RARE

It's finally been found! I'm personally happy, being a Koffi fan of course! Onya is what you would call the "Mother" of Tsiane. Released exactly 40 years ago. Hearing this recording has made me consider the improvement that Koffi has made vocally! In the 2nd transition of the song, his vocal sounded a bit weak. But when he re-recorded this song as "Tsiane" you can hear how much more power he has in his voice after 13 years! Even when singing Onya, I keep saying Tsiane because I'm so used to it! Haha

Plus, this is a great way to reflect on the 41 years of Koffi's career! Especially when these new archives are getting dug up. You can really tell that "Agbada" has come a long way!

7 jours was a brilliant album! My favourites were Zenga Luketo, 520 Giga JM and Eboka (Bangala), Lokoso and Kelvis Nkoyi (With that true Wenge sound)

Looks like Koffi Olomide didn't want and like the question about Papa Wemba, but to win the heart of the white audience, he played the game by saying that Wemba was his idol. Which is also true, but in his prime-years he was never saying it, he was only mentioning Lutuma Simaro and Tabu Ley as his idols even in the years of Maisha Parc.  If it was in Congo they would have cut that part.

It always surprise me how the French media likes to praise Papa Wemba and let other Congolese artists ask questions about him while in his last years they didn't like to do promo for him and if they were doing promo, they were always liking to come with the ngulu-affaire to humilated him. They really think that Papa Wemba is the best Congolese artist ever, while we have Franco Luambo Makiadi and Tabu Ley.

That part in the interview had me thinking "Hold up, didn't you have beef with Papa Wemba?" like nigga please. At the same time I respect the respect that he has now!

I love how this is stripped down and toned down a bit! I can hear how well the guitars are getting played. Sweet sweet Tcha Tcho!

I've been listening to Quartier Latin Academia all week and to hear the "Eyoma" générique as of today, I was being thrown back to my childhood with the old Academia animation that was done in "Sanction" (Manu waba lumiana). Speaking of which, can you believe that it's been 20 years since Sanction came out?!
