This is the closest that we'll ever get to seeing Werra at Olympia

Ohhhhh I love this song! I first heard it back in the mid 2000s then rediscovered it in 2011!

I'm getting old! My favourite track at the time was "Etoile Du Berger", it was on my BlackBerry Curve (A popular phone at the time)

The way those drums are mixed! My goodness, I can't stop headbanging. The same goes for Shalaï and Obligatoire!

Unless Koffi radically changes his way in the next months, I don't see how this changes anything.

That Legend album will probably be a mix of so called "urban" music and lazy "Tchatcho".

More ba ADO, Alidor and Dance ya ba Congolais.

Koffi should use that album to push the most talented element of his new team, but I doubt he will do it.
Ngl... I don't mind B'Ados looool

Koffi had an issue with acne breakouts back in the 80s from what I can see.

This is giving me coloniser vibes.

Imagine if they started calling our music Kiwanzenza 20 years ago or Katshou-Katshou instead of Ndombolo or soukous lol.
I don't think I can to be honest hahaha

three things as far as i know make the difference, the pace of the solos which is way faster in soukouss, the style of drumming, and the rhythm guitar which gets more individual sequences to shine  in general than in ndombolo
Ahhhh! Yes that's a good thing to point out! Also, I believe that Ndombolo is a more evolved and "popularised" version of Soukous. With a slower rhythm.

Out of curiosity!

It’s New Jack Nadou Katumba
Thank you!!

Also who's the guy behind Papa Wemba that does the crazy conducting of the band? haha! He was also at Zénith

This is one of the best Olympias that I've ever seen! This was very "A la carte" with the transition of different genres. As already mentioned above! This is what you call "A SHOW" I envy those who got to experience this show! I was only 2 years old when this happened!
