So sad that Kinshasa based can't perform here in Europe.

So sad that Champion, Mamale, Suzuki and Mustapha didn't last in Intégral. But when there isn't any support it becomes difficult. Imagine a 11 track album of Champion, Mamale, Suzuki, Lebou each having 2 tracks, Pathy and CNN having having 1 + Volte Face as generique.

lol, why didn't he mention Brigade among the guys who contributed to the preparations of the Monde Arabe generique when talking about Washington ? It shows that he still doesn't like him despite saying opposite in other interviews when being asked about Brigade.

For a long time it was studio Veve. But not everybody could record there. So many artists preferring to cross the Congo-river to record at at Studio IAD in Brazzaville (at soon would be victim of lootings in the mid 90s). After fall of Editions Veve  there wasn't any modern studio anymore in Kinshasa. All artists preferring to do their recordings in Europe, unless they could afford a mobile studio  and bring it to Kinshasa to record it in one few studio's (Studio Bobongo, RNTC 2 which would become Studio Ndiaye and Studio Meko) who were there. From 2005 the best studio became Studio Ndiaye directed by JP Kyungu, him having finally the materials, althought the studio not being on the level of those in Europe. Many artists starting to record a big part of their albums, EPs, generique singles there. From 2005, there wasn't any album anymore that was recorded for 100% or 90% in Europe except the first two of Fally and the first one of Ferre. Most were for the majority done in Kinshasa.

Everybody recorded at Studio Ndiaye until 2010 or 2011, when I think a part JB's generique of Soyons Serieux leaked on internet, small artists recording there seeing their cri's suddenly ending up in generiques of Werrason, Koffi before them releasing it, Rumors of Werrason having bought the studio from Monsieur Ndiaye and rivals not feeling comfortable anymore, etc. Some preferring from then to record at mediocre studios, or doing a part in Kinshasa and reworking it with session artists in Europe, because of visa problems and the combattant phenomena appearing.

Anti Terro was recorded in Kinshasa at Studio RTNC 2. They recorded only 4/5 songs in South Africa. It could be that JB Mpiana decided to record in South Africa, because of the conditions there being better. Back in the days it wasn’t fun to record in Kinshasa. Electricity often going off, etc. In South Africa being the presence of modern studios. Koffi already having recorded a big part of Attentat over there and Wenge El Paris having recorded their album Le Monde Envers in 1997.

During Kipe ya Yo, JB Mpiana received visa’s for UK. This gave him the chance to mix and record a part in UK

It's crazy to how JB Mpiana still managed to exist during his 6 years ban (2002-2008) in the Schengen Area. Other artists would have been finished. JB Mpiana was also little bit lucky that the ngulu-affair came, the hype of long European tours and performing at mythic musichalls declined in the same period. But it was still difficult. The succes of Werrason, The incivicble Koffi Olomide, rise of Felix Wazekwa who had crazy succes with Et Apres, Reddy Amisi who tried to restart his career with Compteur à Zero and the upcoming Karmapa who was seen as the new Koffi.

Wasn't it the playback he did when Lunkunku Sampu interviewed him at Intercontinental after the release of Henriquet ?
