I know that journalist Foshino Ntumba Mukundulu a book for Papa Wemba in 2001 called "l'Odyssée", for Werrason he wrote "La Rage de Vaincre" in 2010, JB Mpiana "Ma part de Vérité" in 2005 and in 2017 "La Flamme d'un idéal" for Nyoka Longo & Zaiko Langa Langa. But they are nowhere to be found.
Books who are sold through internet are mostly books about the history of Congolese music, but not biographies focused on one person, for example Rumba on the River, The Politics of Dance Music in Mobutu’s Zaire, etc
Talking about spirituality, ramadan, islam and that having sex with a woman without being married is a sin and that Allah would not listen to your prayers. Also saying that all Stade des Martyrs are spiritually prepared and that Wazekwa failed because of not doing that.
Also talking about his collaboration with Madilu. Saying that Madilu was about to get arrested when coming from Europe, because of the chiefs of OK Jazz making a story up that he was talking bad about the authorities, etc.
Him explaining that Marie Paul doesn't have the right to talk bad about Werrason, giving then multiple examples of the past in Wenge 4x4, adding that if he couldn't mention Werrason, then he had not to mention Adolphe for the things Adolphe said about Marie Paul's mother when she passed away. When being asked about why he could not return as Marie Paul's spiritually advisor. He said that he struggled very hard when being the head. Explaing that when working on spiritually in the band, its not easy because many are fighting for the n1 spot as spiritual advisor. Giving the example, how he was in conflict with Francis Kalombo who used to be the president of Wenge El Paris. Francis Kalombo was the person who brought Wenge El Paris to Kinshasa in 1992 for a few concerts (Intercontinental, Bar moto na moto abongisa in Bandal and Mobutu's daugther wedding) but him being fired in 1994 by Zing Zong & Marie Paul. In their opinion, Francis Kalombo was scamming them by getting a big part of the money from Kongolo Mobutu. Francis Kalombo then not being happy because next to be spiritual advisor, he was also president of the band and said that Hassan that he would do nothing from the moment he left. But Hassan kept fighting and in his opinion he did more work than Francis Kalombo because, in 1992 they came for just a few concerts but when they came in 1993 they stayed for a long time (them on the end ending up by getting blocked in Kinshasa by Kongolo Mobutu) and even confronted their rivals Wenge 4x4. Marie Paul for like 7 years being nominated for the category "best star of the year". But since he left nothing happening in El Paris. He also talked again about how people of El Paris' staff tried not get him out, by trying to connect Marie Paul to other spiritual advisors when he moved to Europe. In meantime Hassan meeting Marie Paul's ex donor/sidechick Zulu 21, her explaining to him why their relation went off, but Hassan still convincing her to let Wenge El Paris to Europe. But Marie Paul when coming in Europe not listening to him anymore, because of being influenced by other spiritual advisors. Hassan not wanting them to perform at LSC, saying that they have to prepare the concert spiritually since that "terrain ezalaki miné" and the tour may flop if the concert would not sold out. But Marie Paul not listening and saying that his spiritual advisor in Kinshasa said that it would rain and the big amount of rain would be the big amount of people in the hall, the concert later ending up by flopping.
Towards the end they talked about bandleaders and Hassan explaining that bandmembers could not do nkisi on their bandleaders because of the bandleaders being spiritually suprior to them. Saying that its bandleaders choice himself to bring x or y to Europe and not that he was influenced trough nkisi, giving the example how Mustapha took Babia's clothes before Bercy, because of Babia being distracted, saying that Mustapha said the story to Hassan himself (version about Mustapha change everything, the other time they he went in the place of Chikito, then Spino, etc.). Also giving them the example of how Manda Chante tried to make from El Paris his band and before leaving sending a 2ème voix singer (I think Kene-Kene) to go a sorcerer and the sorcerer saying that he had to give Marie Paul a handshake and that he would have fame by stealing his power through the handshake. But when meeting Marie Paul, getting scared and the singer snitching everything.
I was often who Wabalonzo was. In the last years that I was following Digitalcongo on their website, I saw articles writing about him and some of a man called Shangostar or something like that. I think that ShaddyRaddy even uploaded two albums of Wabalonzo back in the days. But I will look it later up.
Wabalonzo said that he grew up in Makala and later went to live in Masina, adding that he grew up with Reddy in Makala. Later in the interview he said that Reddy kept saying that he didn't had time to sing on his first album which backed by Viva la Musica. Also adding that he was already accepted to join Viva la Musica, but Reddy Amisi refusing to let him sing. This made me think back, about Wabalonzo that he knew Reddy already in his childhood in Makala. There some people who don't like to be associated with people that know them during the time of struggling, espcially when they present a different image. Reddy for example always says that he's from Yolo, because of being ashamed to say that he's from Makala. Many people from Makala don't like that and sometimes attack him in the comments when saying that. He's not the only one. Many people that grew in areas/quarters that were construced after 1960 are ashamed of it. Them often citing the area/quarters next to it who were constructed before the Belgians left Kinshasa, when being asked where they are from, others replying by citing the quarter/area where aunt/uncle/cousins live. Today it's not really an issue anymore, because of the state of Kinshasa today. But back in the days it was really and thing, some saying it because of not wanting to get bullied or discriminated by those coming from the pre-indepedence areas/quarters. For example, many people from Ngaba used to say that they are from Lemba, those coming from Selembao lying that they are from Bandal, those of Bumbu saying Ngiri-Ngiri, Kisenso lying that they are of Matete and those of Kimbanseke saying that they are bana N'djili.
There are many people that got in Europe through Angola in the 1980s and early 1990s. Back in those days it was so easy. Looks like before the hype of Turkey and Morrocco, that the majority of people in Europe came from there, followed by Nigeria and Benin being 3th of having brought many Congolese people in Europe. I have also many relatives that managed to come here, through those tourist visa's. Many people would be ashamed for the story Wabalonzo said, that he got deported from Prague to Luanda and being put for 60+ days and then the second time finally succeeding.
It's the first that I hear a singer singing with late Eseperant Kisangani's voice. Often its always Emeneya and Papa Wemba and on a few occassions Bozi.
The part of Papa Wemba saying "Nazwi ba chanteurs na coté ya bino ya Bayaka wana" killed me. Wabalonzo then replying "Vieux ba coté nini ya Bayaka wana ?. Te ba coté na ya bino na Masina, nazwi mwa ba chanteurs ebele". It would have been a good move to join Nouvelle Ecriture like Wemba requested him, seeing that Reddy kept blocking him.
I think that that of Koffi, Franco, Verckys, Tabu Ley, Mpongo Love and Abeti would be the most interesting. The saddest would be that of Dr Nico, especially his last years and the way he died and maybe also that of JB for the way people were fighting his career from the Wenge split and his dark years (2002-2009)

Why is Fabregas nominated while his album had zero succes in Congo and Africa. But Ferre Gola who had succes this year Birzorbi, many people doing challenges on social media, getting zero nomination ? No nomination at the category "Best Male Central Africa", no nomination at the category "Best Francophone".
Is it because of Garry Iwele who's Fally's friend being in the jury ? Or does Ferre Gola has personal problems with people in the African showbizz world ? Because isn't also nominated for the coming Trace Award. I think that Koffi was right about his declartion about AFRIMMA and some people are there influenced by certain artists to not nominate x or y.
Ferre is signed to Sony Music. Can't his team of Sony do something or is his contract to Sony, like that of African artists being signed to Universal Africa. The artist doing everything on his own and label just doing the distribution.

Its different from the 1980s and 1990s when Soukous artists and Kinshasa based came to perform there. But na Filet was announced for a concert last year, but I don't know what happened.
There's now a big Congolese community in Brazil, since the early 2010s. Most of them came there through Angola and try to get either in Europe or Canada/USA. Most choose to get in USA/Canada, since that most don't manage to get visa's for Portugal anymore to enter the Schengen Area. Them going to the USA by travelling many countries of Southern and Central America. Many people die when opting that route. The last 4 years there were many documentaries made about it. A few months ago I was watching news and on tv being reported that many Africans were blocked at the border of Mexico and USA.
Because of a big African community being there in Brazil. I think that the impact will be less, than when it was back in the days when Congolese artists would perform there. The same for Japan, Australia and China, where you now also have many Africans. I think that Colombia, Cuba, India would be more interesting. I've haven't since years of Congolese artists performing in Oman or Saudi Arabia since the end of the Soukous-fever
I wonder if Igwejunior1030 will come back. Because such things can be demotivate someone. Look at Ina Congo he had the biggest youtube-channel with Congolese Archives. Starting to put videos since I think 2013 with the videos of Charles Mombaya and Koffi Olomide in Abidjan 1995 and from 2015 with Wenge BCBG's concert at Bataclan in 1998, coming at least every month with some videos. He already knew that he was risking to see his channel getting closed, after seeing many videos getting deleted from his channel or sometimes old producers threaten him in the comments to remove the video, but the video itself never coming back on youtube or on a new channel when being refused. Because of that he made Ina Congo II and when his channel got closed this year, he started using his second account and trying to re-upload the videos of his closed channel in better quality. But after a few months he stopped. I think that he's not motivated anymore and still getting warnings.
The thing they can do is making like 4 or 5 and posting the same videos on all these but on a locked mode and when one channel get closed, just wait for a few weeks and then unlock the videos that were already uploaded on the other channels.
Its all is really sad. Even RTNC and Congolese tv-channels itself doesn't have these archives and them always using videos coming from INA Congo, Igwejunior1030, Emiliodj, Seben Total, Bikoni243 and Musique Zairoise. What does these producers want ? I don't think that the owners of these youtube-channels get money from the videos, because the views of these videos being to low for it. If they aren't happy that they upload these videos, why don't why do it by themselves ? Alot of people are looking for these archives, even artists themselves since that they have these videos in possession. Also all these cassettes aren't sold anymore. Really sad.

Was this because of putting rare videos of Ngadiadia Ngadios on youtube ? I don't understand those accounts sending strikes to him. Where are they waiting for to put those videos on their own account ? I remember the first time when his account closed because of Papy Tex. But the same Papy Tex not being able to put the original videos on his channels and just using the images of Igwejunior1030 who were in black and white.
I dont know why but VHS versions of concerts always give a special vibe when watching it for the first time compared to DVD versions or maybe its because im from the era of cassettes.
I'm sure that Omba Nsimba "Petit Bokoul's" career and that of Djodjo Bayinge would have been different if they were with Nouvelle Ecriture instead of Viva la Musica "Cours des Grands". It was in this year that Wemba decided to disband Cour des Grands right ? Only to let it return when getting released from jail and creating on the same time Viva Tendance.
There's no artists that was celebrating the creation of his band that much like Papa Wemba. I thought that he started doing it since 1983. But through liboké I discovered that he already started doing it in 1979. I think that the event have been even more special if late King Kester Emeneya decided to come. But after Longue Histoire he totally changed his attitude towards Papa Wemba and his staff not making it better. I don't understand why no concert-promoter thought during this tour about a fara-fara concert of Nouvelle Ecriture against Victoria Eleison on the same stage. That would have created alot of buzz like those confrontations in the 1980s and early 1990s.
Rest in Peace Deo Sfr, Djodjo Bayinge, Alpatchino, Maguy, Bipoli & Fafa de Molokai. So sad how cancer killed Bipoli (RIP) and Covid-19 killing Fafa de Molokai (RIP). Imagine how it would have been if both guys did a liboké-video with Mbuta Likasu. You can see that Fafa de Molokai had still alot love for Papa Wemba and Viva la Musica, when singing with him, altough everything he was saying when being in Nouvelle Generation from 46:15 min
