Intifada wasn't well received it flopped, because of multiple problems (I talked about it in other threads). Alain Mpela's career failed because he already made a false start with Intifada and he made it worser by his behaviour (prefering to sleep long like JB and let his musicians rehearse without him), spending months long in Europe and putting his money in unnecessary luxury instead of his band.

He became the adviser of the minister of culture, but he had health issues. His sister Gisele is Felix Tshisekedi's second wife.

It looks like Japonais Maladi is Awilo's favorite solist. In another single called Kwanga Pamba he let Caien Madoka play Japonais Maladi's famous partition of 1997 that he used to play in concerts.

If she only knew that her mother took Ma’Gode’s place and everything to finish that marriage. When Didi was born, Koffi still with Rocky’s mother.
Wait what? What do you mean?

Yeah I heard Koffi already had a song dedicated to Aliya on Noblesse Oblige. I've seen the pic of him and Aliya .. that pic has to be 1993 because he's wearing the papa plus outfit in that pic.

And yeah he was still with somebody else.

I don't even understand it.

Aristote and Minou same mum.

Rocky different mum?

And what about Elvis? Who's his mum.?

The only reason why I'm curious to know his kids and who their mothers are is because I've listened to all of his songs from 1983 to 1989. Ive heard all of his 80s songs and I've heard on different records of different kids he gave shootouts to.

I just didn't understand how many of them are there and if they have different mothers or not. Rocky lives in England. Minou too. Aristote as well.

But this Elvis guy I don't know

Koffi is a polygamist. In the 80s he started a relationship with Godelive Stephanie (Also known as Stephie and Gode), but he had on the same time also a relationship with Marianne Makosso who's the mother of Artistote & Minou, they divorced somewhere in the early 90s. Koffi dedicated many songs to Ma'Gode songs like Aspirine, Diva, Sef, Mbabula and Stephie, musicians of Quartier Latin (Babia, Sam Tshintu and co) would often give her shout-outs in vocals in their songs until Attentat as Maman Rocky. Koffi himself would put her name on in Bercy-cd next to Aliane (Writing "Merci a Steph, Aliane et mes parents). He and Stephie divorced in 2001, she ran away when Koffi went on tour with Quartier Latin (she was apparently fed up with those domestic violence, multiple scandals, apparently he tried to sleep with he daugher of his late broher Didi, being forced to stay at home and apparently locked up while he was spending months abroad in Paris, touring in Africa & Europe). When she left Aliane took automatically the place of Mere Premiere, because she was already around since 1993 after meeting Koffi after finishing the mouring of late Didi (I that's why he named his first child with her Didi).

I don't know who the mother of Elvis is, but that's their private life, we are here for music. Maybe that he's the child of that Rwandian model, where he dedicated the song Miss Tutsi to. Koffi had/has multiple sidechicks.I heard that Elvis lives in Sweden, Zacharie Bababaswe claimed that he became gay and wanted to suicide himself when his boyfriend break up with him, during the beef that they had with Koffi (started to involve their children and Koffi mocking Zacharie's child of being mentally disabled ). The mother of Diego is Rachel Soulam (the girl he sung in the vocal he made in Papa Na Roissy). I don't know what happended with Koffi and his children or their mothers, but since 3/4 years he started saying that he has only 3 children, ignoring Minou and co (I remember Minou writing about it on instagram-stories to be hurt about that).

Thierry Mogratana became the lead-guitarist of Wenge Maison Mere after Flamme's departure. You can see him play the most on those concerts they made in Kinshasa after the Europe-tour (Masina, Fikin, Ghk, etc.) and Christian Solo not playing alot (he came from Operation Dragon and had to work like a understudy for Mogratana), then after a few months Maison Mere came for a festival (somewhere in sept 07) and Thierry Mogratana who came as only solist decided to stay in France to get papers (I remember him getting married to a French woman and him posting pictures of her on his old skyblog and later facebook). Christian Solo who stayed behind in Kinshasa took automatically the number one spot as lead guitarist and got presented in Masina. They started to re-record a big part of Mayi ya Sika (erasing most parts of Flamme Kapaya and deleting songs of members who left) and the new generique that we all know in Kinshasa at Studio Ndiaye. Thierry Mogratana rejoined when they were about to perform at Zenith 2008 and came back in 2009 with that double-neck guitare called Jesus-Christ (just to counter his rival Flamme Kapaya who came with Madame Jacqueline), but it was difficult for him to get his place back, because Christian Solo really cemented on that position. Later on Maison Mere came to Europe to mix Techno Malewa volume 1 (the trip where Koffi tried to block them and Kakol then insulting him on tv, calling him 'Coco Ntiri-tiri') and Christian Solo ran away during that trip (the guy who promised to WMM to never do that), Thierry Mogratana could profit from that moment to get his position, but he had to stay to short some things of his papers out (Werrason and staff though that he also left), which made them decided to put the young Bob Solo on that position and get Kimbangu Solo (called Luxembourg at that time, he was in Bill Clinton's band) & Rodriguez Solo (he came from Celeo's band) and let them battle at La Zamba Playa (that video is or was on YouTube, but I can't it). Kimbangu end up by winning the battle and the presented him along with Bob Solo in Masina.

Mogratana can play agrresive like Flamme, but never got enough space to show his talents.

Reddy & Koffi don't have a conflict. Koffi talked positive about Reddy in this interview and the same Reddy also talked positive about Koffi in the interview he made with Ado last week.

He lives in Pointe Noire nowadays, I remember him having made an interiew 5 years ago, saying that he was the original creator of the cri "Kata Fumbwa".

Chaleur does indeed sound like Somono Dolce but he does not have the vibrato that Somono has. Chaleur actually is like Ntesa in a sense where he is very jolly in an aggressive way.
Yeah you're right, but I think he's the closest copycat sounding to Somono.

I think that Karmapa's former atalaku who animated in his first album, 3th album (Lifolototo, Kaniama Kasese & Kuluna) and the single they made before Le Millionaire sounds more like Somono than Chaleur.

No, it was in a house or hotel if I remember well. He made like 3 or 4 interviews dissing Fabregas.

Lol here he says that Fabregas was never a member of Maison Mere and just went for a stage without finishing it, but just must now see how he talks about Fabregas toda. ah mokili oyo vraiment.

3850
The same Werrason sended Sankara de Kunta to insult Fabregas when he left and months later to mock about his first show in Kinshasa which was in Hotel at Fleuve (I think that it was the same interview where he insulted Celeo's kids). When Deplick left he did the same thing, also saying taht he suffers of "Maladie ya Ndeke" and restarting to diss Fabregas again without reason.

When Reddy was recording his albums (Zakina, Queen Lina, Injustice, Prudence, Ziggy & Etoile), he was still a Viva La Musica-member. Reddy Amisi didn’t leave Viva La Musica in peace, he was in conflict with Papa Wemba after Etoile for having used atalaku’s in his albums and sung with Koffi Olomidé who was beefing with Wemba (mostly influenced by staff) with the conflict becoming worser when a donor bought instruments for him (then Wemba’s invented stories that he was about to form a band, which wasn’t true). To punish Stino & Reddy, Wemba started to ignore them and not associating him and other Cour des Grands-members to important Europe concerts of Nouvelle Ecriture (for example Zenith 2000 & Olympia). Reddy and also Stino were about to leave, but after Emeneya adviced them to stay and prove a him a point, which made them record the Fin d’Exil album, but it made it worser and Wemba himself openly attacking it in an interview. Until that Reddy & Stino totally fed up of it and both left, Reddy then going to Kinshasa to form Casa do Canto and Stino teaming up with Alexis Azulino for a project that never came.

Its Bobangi/Kilobo, which is talked in the Mayi-Ndombé region, The Lingala-languague comes from them. Bozi  Boziana sung this song, because there were  killings in that region of the Tende-tribe against Banunu.

Here’s comedian Mangobo talking about Bobangi and the Lingala-language

Koffi said it clearly in the interview that it was because he came from Europe, which made have another vision for our music (which why pays his musicians every month).

Koko Dianzombo is a Congolese comedian who lives nowadays in Dublin. Ferre called Koffi like that, because of the way he behaves.

Koffi complains that nobody visited him at concerts, during the Maisha Parc-days, but he forgot that King Kester Emeneya, Adolphe Dominguez, Marie Paul, Bozi Boziana, J.B. M'piana and even Felix Wazekwa came to his concerts. Most having visited him during the reconcilation concert at Grand Hotel de Kinshasa.
