Loooool this is even cruel but Koffi is so good at taking things from others and refining them to the point you’ll even think he made it

This has been my song of the month even and there’s a part of it at 4:25 of “ahhhh Kibinda eyyy , ah Kibinda ya yo” and I wanted to know what other songs have this animation because it’s now stuck in my head.

I asked myself the same questions, maybe they get contract to be the only seller of beer at the artist concerts?

The Congolese community in uk is quite strong not for a full o2 butttt Fally has many fans in London from Ivorian, Cameroonian etc other francophone. He could definitely do 10k plus but im not sure about 20.

Mboka Mboka was definitely one of the best out of the bunch, and Ngwende too. Like I said todays generiques are quite bad and don’t age well compared to before. There’s no more classics, the fact that Papa Mobimba is still a hit even though its average says a lot, or even ecole because of the leg dance says a lot
Literally not many if any at all Generique that I hear and have to get up immediately

It is weird this song has no replies and was really not noticed from our members in Congovibes but 5 months later it sits at 7.9 mln views almost 8 minutes views. Evidently we prefer a different type of genre here
Very interesting but not a massive shock, I think this forum tends to prefer more traditional Rumba and Seben than this new style kind of vibe

bro cavalier, whats even worse with them guys is that its not even the group members who play in studio, they'll hire somebody to do that perfectly blended accoustic with the programmed thing, when their artists are not giving them the result they want, then in lives they actually develop the song with more freedom to the group, its a strange logic
why not just play the song the way its meant to be
Honestly the way they’re played in live is just better even often rehearsal, even Heritiers MAMD which is a great album when some of the rumbas are played live they’re even better

Really ? I gonna listen to it. These last 10 years I never listened full albums. 2 weeks I tried to do it and finally listened to all the 31 songs of Fally Ipupa's Control. I came to the conclusion that our genre is really dead. I was really dissapointed and wondered how that album was a huge succes 5 years ago. I also wondered why there wasn't an artist that could catch control up at that time.
You didn’t listen to Zaiko - Seve???

Better than any of the Generique on Gomme
Loool I forgot about that album, but yeah definitely.
Looool I don’t blame you, I do still play some of the rumbas but the whole thing is very forgettable
