This 2003 (maybe 2005) rumba (which I was composed by Popolipo I think). It's a duo between Jossart N'Yoka Longo and Luciana Demingongo. I came across it three weeks ago.

Also this song from the same compilation (which I found in 2019). If just the Sebene had Papy Cocaïne or Bidjana as atalakus, the song would've been perfect for me.

To me this by Emeneya I literally had no idea that this song existed but the composition the message the Generique were all so great man Toiture's voice on the crie Kotazo here it is just phenomenal I guess Zoe Bella also has the oart before the Sebene

And also this song with Deo Brando whom is not that I didn't know it was just that I always heard it from my parents but never knew the name

And also this song, I used to listen to it but never knew the name also this has Deo Brondo on it, it is sad that the video quality is not what it should be, which is the name of the guy doing the solo voice on the choir "Tchiri ye Tata"?

That's Nono Monzuluku (a Zaïko member from August of 1982 to 2008). He was part of the first ever Atalaku duo in Congolese music (Nono Monzuluku/Bébé Atalaku).

Congolese Music / Re: INTERVIEW OF LEGENDARY SOLOIST 8 KILOS
« on: November 30, 2022, 07:51 »
I always thought that Huits Kilos left Victoria Principal by himself, I never knew that Emeneya came to Ndjili to convince his father to come back in Victoria Eleison and his people throwing stones towards his cars. Someone like Marcel Landu or Papy Gene must to interview him to make ask detailed questions about his time in Etumba na Ngwaka, Viva la Musica, Victoria Eleison and Afrisa International.

I am really surprised to hear to he’s But na Filet’s uncle.

For years I thought that Emeneya was jocking about Huits Kilo touring with Janet Jackson until a nephew showed me a videoclip where he appeared as a broke drunken man. But in which song did he exactly play guitar for her ?

Congolese artists need to wake up, hearing now that 8 Kilos often invited in Colombia. Colombia is an interesting market Congolese artists. But they shall make Ndombolo music. Isn’t there a way for Christelle Mangaya to get a contract for Koffi there ?

Yeah. Congolese artists should perform there often.

This is my band, Audax Musica, formed in December of 2019.
My band brings back those long-missed older generation vibes, unlike other youth bands (we’re aged between 15 and 21).

Juliano Munem : lead, mi-solo guitar
Obed : bass guitar
Chiraq KamaRan : rhythm guitar
Bâton Précieux : drums
Placide (me) : bandleader

Enjoy!

Is there a biography of this band?

True and it annoys me how most nowadays try to play like flamme and just play too fast in generiques.

They seem to think that playing fast and complicated riffs makes them cooler

45
I don’t like it.
