Congolese Music / Re: Ado Yuhe's interview with Papa Makosso
« on: September 11, 2020, 04:28 »
I did not watch the full interview, but I hope he talks about Franco's dirty songs, according to my dad, when Franco was arrested by Kengo Wa Dondo, Franco's mom listened the songs and then he started crying.

Thanks Archos. Is Djino Werrason's or Bula's song.

Djino Kota is Werra's song. Ave Maria is Blaise Bula's song but some people claim that is Willy Bula's song instead.

Man, y’all are harsh critics. As a huge General Defao enthusiast, this is alright. One of the few decent releases of the year

For me the rest is good, only the drums and promotion could be better.

I don’t know what to think of this song, but yes that drumming Yikes! And why on earth would Defao prefer to release remixes then buy and record new songs.

The drums are programmed I think, or it's a drummer on an electric drum set. The way it's played reminds me of his old génériques.
The electric programmed drums have been overused for the past 10 years and it really pisses me off. We need real drum sets back cause this ain’t it.

Really, we can't compare the shitty drum lines of today with the one's of big drummers.

This guy is a joke...this nigga just dressed up like Tekashi69 with fake tattoos wow. Congolese musicians are soo lost, what’s a legend and grown ass man like Bill doing dressing up to portray a troll and snitch...and it gets better, throwing shoots at a lil boy like Innos eh

I would love if some boys of the sixth generation could make a band of Ndombolo music, and not the Nigerian afro-beat we're seeing everywhere.

I didn’t even know this has been out for two days and even though I don’t care about views, the views hasn’t even reached 200 views yet. Defao needs to hire someone to do the marketing because this is shocking, no promotion, no buzz, nothing. He needs to remember he’s not as big as he used to be so he can’t just drop a single with no announcement and expect people to pay attention, even guys like Koffi, Fally and Ferre don’t do stuff like that.
He released a snippet of the song like 6 months ago, he could spend time promoting.

I thought the animator was Théo Mbala. Their voices are similar. I haven't heard anything from Théo since his departure from Zaïko.

Just listen to the first words of the song.
"Muana to votaki na mbongo ya pasi, nzoka azalaka impoli", referring to when he won the Vodacom Superstar in 2010.

I think that's not the complete DVD, that one has 4 music videos. I have one with more, released in 2007.
