Zaiko has the album: Saisie en Douane, 20 ans déjà. But interestingly Nyoka Longo does not appear on it. Why? How could it happen they created a release without him? Could someone write something of the background of this release?

It's worth listening to, some of the greatest solos of the band:

As Josky is gone, I wonder which members are still alive from the famous line-up? Especially from the big names. What I know for sure is that Sam Mangwana is alive, and Malage, and there was a young guy around the end of the 80's, I don't know his name, but I guess he is still alive considering his age back then. Who else is still with us?

In the 60's the OK jazz had a classic jazz and rumba sound reflecting that decade, but from the 70's their sound changed, and sounded more like big band. I guess it was due to Zaiko and the new wave. Or not? What were the first songs featuring that change? I remember as if Franco returned with the song: Azda after his break. But There is a contemporary hit: Dje Melasi with new guitar sounds, I wonder if that one came earlier? Could you tell a bit more about those years?

Congolese Music / Roga Roga appeared live today on his channel

Recently they make lots of interviews, etc., lots of talk, but I don't see the good records. I'd rather see him work in the studio as much as he is on interviews. 20 years ago Roga talked half this much but his records were 100x times better.

There are many good rythm guitar parts from various songs, but if I had to choose one from the many to introduce Congolese music to a newcomer, I would surely pick this one. It is 100% african in every sense:

Guy Guy Fall - Côte Quest: I have this CD but had not listened to it for 10 years. So today I mined it out from my collection, and wow. I realized why I have remembered it as one of the best albums I have. But listening to it also made me sad. It offers so much more excitement than whatever the Extra clan released since 2007. These guys today are just really far from their 90's self. And it's a shame. Take these two tracks below, for example. And these are just a few of the many good tracks on the album. Not like today, when we find 1 or two on an album. Feel free to debate with me, everyone has the right to express their opinion. But mine is this.
