(Ricky Pistone is a multitalented New York City-based musician. Not only is he a session guitarist, bassist, and singer, but also a songwriter and creative. From Carnegie Hall to Cafe Wha?, he has done it all. After getting his BA in music at JMU, he traveled the whole world while playing musicals in cruise ships until he decided to move to NYC. Living in the City, Ricky has deep rooted himself in performing, producing, arranging, songwriting and passing it all forward through teaching. Being immersed in such a vibrant city has influenced the approach and technique to everything Ricky does in music. Either working as a side-man, or as a solo artist, you will feel his very presence within each note.)

Post the link from the share option menu. You click the share arrow besides the tiktok video, select copy link, and that will display the video. the same applies for other platforms as well. Always search for the "Copy link" option in the Share menu.

Congolese Music / Mobile theme is back
« on: February 14, 2024, 02:41 »
I am glad to announce mobile theme is back! It should appear automatically when you visit the phone on mobile devices, if not, as you may know, you need to click the link "Mobile" at the bottom of the page.

yep there is definitely topics which would have gone above the 5th page with mfumu and matebu's precious contribution
i hope mfumu will come back since he still is active on youtube

Don't forget guys the fact that while on popular social media sites everyone can have their own space and don't need to conform to others, at those sites the moderators can delete the channel just any time, in case of any little mistake. You don't follow some minor rule, and you can be banned. Just like Vibes D'Afrique, that was running on a subscription like service, or there channel of DJ Omega or INA Congo. Especially if your share links to albums to download, and discuss where and what to download. The advantage of having this forum is that it can not be banned, even if it is banned at one server, I can upload it to the next,so the things go on as usual. And as I mentioned earlier, if anyone needs his own section, I can create it, even can ban users  they wouldn't like to see there commenting. Anything you share here will remain, unlike at Facebook or Youtube, where it can be wiped in a second if the moderator feels so, or an angry fan or manager reports the channel. Like in case of Rigo Makengo reporting Ina Congo.

Secondly: I needed to ban some servers in the US for large scale hacking attack activity. If some members were using those servers they might have got locked out, but I left an error message for them to inquire about lifting the ban on Facebook. So far noone inquired.

The mobile theme is off, is someone needed it they might be less active recently. But the updates still last for 1-2 weeks. Until then I cannot switch it back. The forum core features were 10 years old, there was no more time left to wait, elase it could have collapsed and we needed to start everything from scratch.

Congolese Music / If you get locked out of the forum do this
« on: February 03, 2024, 14:33 »
Recently I added some new necessary security measures to the forum to keep spammers and hackers away. It may result in that some of the members here get locked out. If you cannot access the forum for a longer period of time, and no notification about servicing is presented on the screen, please visit our page on Facebook, and inquire for lifting the false ban on your account. Hopefully noone will fall into this situation, but in case yes, just do as mentioned.

This is our Facebook page:

Not yet. I had to switch it off temporarily until I am servicing the forum.  I am waiting for some information from my helpers, there is a break now, but until the whole process ends I cannot switch the mobile theme back, it will mess things up. Soon it will be back. But if all goes well, that security issue you always have with the Brave browser will be solved. At the moment I am working on that.

I modified your post. You got the Tiktok link from the address bar, it did not work, I copied it from Share -> Copy link. Unfortunately it happens in case of some sites. I am trying to sort this out.

I am glad to announce a feature that may have been long awaited: from now on if you insert Instagram or Facebook video links in your posts, they will display as videos after submitting the post. The function works for these sites as well: Tiktok, Vimeo, Dailymotion, Soundcloud, Spotify and of course as always: Youtube.

Some glitches may happen, this feature is still under development. If you notice an error let me know.

One known glitch is that if you post multiple Facebook videos in the same post, it may happen some won't appear. You need to insert those in the next post then.

If all goes well, soon, inserting Facebook Posts will also be available, I am still working on it.

Cheers!
