http://africtempo.com/ has been around for a while. They have quite a few interesting titles, some of which are already out of stock elsewhere. And prices are quite acceptable.

It seems to me this is the descendant site of Villageafro. I did have issues with Villageafro as well in the past, but fortunately all was solved, sooner or later. Occasionally I had to cancel, too. But now PayPal offers guarantee for a longer period, so until you stick to that payment method, you have no reason to fear of placing an order. I assume their stock is not refreshed too often, and certain items can actually be out of stock. But unfortunately no other big online store like this for Congolese music at the moment...

I don't know how that's possible, but he is banned. If he wasn't, he could have posted things already. But as you see he did not post anything.

At times the forum get quite heated. I know this for a fact. I have always urged restraint especially when commenting on the individual, I recommend that we restrict the comment /replies to the subject matter. Other matters clarifications can be able interrogated via private message.

@Manzambi94.... I urge you not to leave but into interact privately with admin to sort you out.
MY OPINION

Guys shamala is right. Me and DJ Sly have no time to check the forum full time, if something happens without our noticing it, you should let us know.

As @CM Prince & @Archos mentioned, we are really missing his contribution here. It's a shame some banned member who was only here for 1-2 months is the cause.

Unfortunately, my friend couldn't supply me with his email address. But try to search for him on Youtube. I have a suspicion he has a channel with this name.

Anastasio was banned several days before. I wonder why you think he is not banned. The poll was about whether the ban should be lifted, not that he would get banned.

The biggest surprise for me is that Oxygéne disappeared like that. I know he released a solo album lately, but he is not on the scene as much as he was when being in Extra. He would have deserved a bigger career with his voice. Just like Papy Bastin, but he is at least trying to stay in focus more or less.

I wonder why they did not stay in Paris, like Guy Guy Fall and Quentin, those two managed to build up a kind of career there. Indeed, when you are alone in Congo, it is not easy to stay on the scene. However in Europe, musicians are always searching for voices.

This is a bit off topic, but what about that guy Regis Tuba? As I remember he is already on the Confirmation album, and maybe even from the 1st album. But I also remember as if I heard his name in different fractions, and even on the La Main Noire album.  Is he still in any of the groups?

For me Trop C'est Trop by Extra Musica, both artistically and technically.

Kin E Bougé is a very good album indeed. The studiowork is also good. The engineers back then did a great job to make this early album sound so good. Big luck so that we can enjoy those songs in that quality. Many albums of that era, especially paris soukous ones are not very well mixed.

I tell you what these guys could make themselves a competition for Roga for sure: if they would add the old singers to the group who can still sing well. Like Papy Bastin, Doudou Copa. Fans would go mad I am sure. Oxygéne himself is a trademark voice of the Extra sound as well. I am not sure though he still sings well.

When did Levyson join them by the way? It seems to me he is already present on the Primus clip that was shot at the time of Obligatoire.
