Its a contnuous process at Lazamba. If a good guys comes up and convinces some musicians and leaders they approach Werra and an audition is done at Lazamba. However that is just first level. You have to be good and consistent to break into the first team.
Ambulance is now clearly the lead ataluku of the group is arguably one of the best Werra has ever hard following Bill, Celeo and Brigade. He is versatile and can go base and tenor. He has a new cry "CHARGE"
Another guy who seems to have landed running is Congo Central who presents "MANGOLE YA WEWA"
This combination seems pure fire with Sarah destroying the guitar.
Werra goes with fans. He has tried to errase Bill's memories but despite having bringing in Brigade, Roi david, Lobeso who are different from Bill fans still demand Bill. It is not that he doesnt like those who dont animate like Bill but fans still demand that style.
It is identity. Bill gave WMM that animation identity that others have gone on to copy. Werra has tried to get away from that with Brigade, Lobeso, Roi David but the truth is much as these were good it did not sound like WMM. So what he is looking for is someone with perfect interpretation of Bill's parts which are by far the best and will be played so much in WMM concerts in the the years to come and also creative enough. No one has managed to fit this bill perfectly. WMM is known for buzz and rides on it. An ataluku should not only be creative but a charismatic crowd puller. Very few have passed that test. Of all the four atalukus only Ambulance can be counted on. So Werra needs two more. In WMM you need to churn new cries continuously. Let us see what the new young Bill Clinto from Angola will give.
Iam in...head, legs, toes ...everything in me has been won over by Sarah Solo. Iam one of the strongest supporters of Makaba Bikorino but Sarah cannot be on mi-solo. She should share the solo with Makaba with her leading on many songs and Makaba taking mi-solo. This girl is a natural talent. You can tell it is just in her. She does it with ease and fun.
Fans are already calling for "7 days of the week" to be pushed forward to allow for the young bill (Angolan) and Sarah to participate. Even Bercy with organised buzz did not cause as much excitement as this Sarah girl. Fans, band members and other musicians like Fabregas, Fally and co. have had their say on this girl.
Werrason has never gone this close to replacing Bill Clinton. The new recruit left Werra smiling as he sang Style Momberg. This looks relaxed as he performed. Natural replacement in my view!
