He said he started music in a street band in Bandal, and was in a group accompagnment with guys like Bouro, Celeo, Jordan, Sunda Bass, Serge Mabiala. He was approached to join QL in '96 and he didn't really do a test to join he arrived the same day Mboshi was doing his test and Bouro arrived of couple days after him. He arrived during the time Koffi and Wemba were releasing Wake Up, and the group were preparing Ultimatum and Loi. He was left behind for the 97 tour, but he didn't mind at all since he was new so he took the moment to become a better singer and learn more songs. He was selected for the Olympia tour and the Droit De Veto recordings in '98 which they prepared in Kin and the rest in Kenya since they went for a tour but because of the War they were unable to return whilst their were other members that were supposed to come on the europe tour but were left in Kin for the Kenya tour. He performed at Olympia at the age of 22 and for him he found it relatively fast for him to go on tour, since there were so many musicians in QL who were there for years that never got selected to go on tour let alone record albums. He also said that Zenith wasn't the same structure as Olympia and it was more of a celebration and they carfed more about filling it and their hearts weren't truly in it. As we all know Academia was formed due to musicians being upset over the pay and the final nail in the coffin was that concert in germany where they did a 12 on Koffi by performing Coucou, Ngobila, fouta djallon before Koffi made it on stage. Koffi was so furious that he refused to speak to them and even left them after the concert so they had to figure out how to leave on their own. When Academia was formed Koffi was so down that he became sick for a while, and they were preparing Bercy with the new recruits and they cared more about filling the hall then putting on a good show but it was still a legendary show. For Mamale out of the three halls Olympia will always be the best show they did, and when they arrived for Bercy they started rehearsing without Koffi and a member of Koffi's staff started paying them 500 without knowing the system, and when Koffi found out he was horrified. When Bouro wanted to return to the group Koffi got the entire band for a meeting and all of them refused except for Mamale, Champion and Binda Bass, and Mamale was the only one who wanted Montana to join them but by the time Montana arrived Force de Frappe was nearly done so Mamale gave up one of his vocals so that Montana can at least have one (then later Mustapha left which made Montana replace his vocals), During the tour Fally and co wanted Mamale to ask Koffi to buy them cars to counter Maison Mere and BCBG and Koffi agreed but there were some members guys like Lola who didn't give a damn about a car and all they wanted was a proper salary instead. He also briefly talked about his time in Viva Tendence and said he was appraoched to join since Papa Wemba came out of prison for the ngulu affaire and needed a new band to play at Zenith. Papa Wemba was more like a father whilst Koffi was like a big brother and he could talk and laugh about anything with Koffi. He has a song coming out with Heritier soon and he called Heritier personally to participate and Heritier came two days after, the song is for Abed Achour.

Lol In QL for me there was three musician who used to mess up the chorus, it was Gipson, Lola and Montana  and until today I wonder how Koffi was convinced to let them sing.

Montana ?

yes Montana, not saying he's a bad singer but his voice just doesn't do it for me, just boring.

Whoa come on now remove Montana off that list he didn't mess anything up, (No Montana slander will not be tolerated loool) especially after Rolly Mayemba's interview. I'd put Kusa up there as those that would mess up the chorus. If Mustapha didn't leave so soon QL would not have had those issues.
I'd replace Montana with Depitcho if we're talking about messing up choruses! Even Lola as already mentioned

I agree, add Jordan aswel

Why is a guy of Koffi’s stature working with video producers young enough to be his grandson is the real question? Go work with someone experienced like Yan Mambo.

He should know better; now this kid is sitting in jail over petty money

In videography business age doesn’t matter, it’s about creativity.
Facts and I'm in the Videography business myself

We need to collaborate  :D
Lool PM me ndeko

Come on guys you are making Celeo like a Saint, really? I am not Fally Fan But to makre him Demon to Celeo that taking it too low.
Celeo who insult Fally every day, but I never hear Fally say anything Bad or Good about him.

If I understand Fally aza mabe mabe mabe and Celeo malamu malamu malamu, it will be nice if we say one good thing about Fally or one bad thing about Celeo.

why always Fally do this to that to this person, so Fally sitting to his home is doing nothing but sending people to attack Celeo? Fally never get attack from Celeo?

Mawa mingi, we are trying very hard to turn Fally to a Demon.

I am not Fally fan I am into old school music.

lol its the other way around actually,"Celeo aza mabe mabe mabe and Fally malamu malamu malamu"...Fally and his staff suffer from insecurity
Come on JV my bro you know damn well you wouldn’t have this same energy if it was Celeo back in the days dissing Ferre and then Ferre would retaliate by sending Marchouse and co after him.

Celeo has many times fallen out with Ferre but he never goes on and on dissing him
