Doesn't he smoke marijuana?

And nothing is wrong with it at all.

Shall not have any impact on Fabregas. He understands how its played, you have them help you stabilize a band then send them away. These other guys may have the technical knowledge about music but they lack what it takes to market it which Fabro seems to understand more than them. Ibrator with his talent of composition is still confined in his village music wise.
Why are you so harsh against Ibrator? Ibrator didn't have Wenge back on his side and the financial support of Koffi to start his first single.
Remember that Ibrator and many of Fabregas's ex members are the reason Fabregas is where he is. So I don't understand all this hate towards Ibrator.

No hate, Just saying it needs more than just that skill of writing. You all can't stand Wazekwa even though he has played part in making and salvaging careers of stars.

Hehehehe if I was a musician I would be very scared of Congovibes critical review..

Omwami, not only from here but now some guys must be asking why he mentioned your guy first before De la foret. That's how crazy it is.

But why do Kester's story sound sad every time it's told? Was his case a case of poor management or he simply did not do enough when he was up?

Have we ever thought that he might be mental .He does not behave like a normal human being. The Koffi in private is the real himself. In music he has to be nice otherwise he wont have fans.Who would want to say they listen to music from a mad man

This can be true. I've thought the same, Koffi's can be a mental issue. I wonder how people who work with him will always live with his attitude and behavior. Again when you happen to have money in a society where people are destitute then it's easy to go mad. The two cases which can justify this thinking is when he unexpectedly jumped over a dancer during a video shoot and when he grabbed a dancer by the thigh on Skol Swi video. I doubt if that was part of choreography.

I like the maturity Didi exhibited. It would have been tempting for her to say "You can all go and hang yourselves you haters" Anyway she's not Congolese, French.

Did Wazekwa make money out of this concert?

Koffi Olomide will remain the most sophisticated musician ever from Congo. I have been thinking since he went to Europe, where are the Combatants? Could combatants be Koffi's creation? Well, as it is it seems even the combatants are happy with his entry.
Those combattants are being nipped. Most European countries are cracking down on foreigners. With the French protests ay present. They just deport you these days with the change of leadership in Kinshasa you will be on a plane quickly. Its not about sophistication. It is called public relations .He uses a situation to its full effect. You should know by now Koffi is a showman who knows how to use the media .

And that is the sophistication my friend.

But again I thought Zaiko has been having a packed calendar of concerts in and out of Congo and is one of the most expensive orchestras to hire. What's happening? why would a musician of such a band run to roam streets of the US/Europe? Are these musicians not paid well? I expect Adicky Ndebe to lose musicians this way but not Zaiko.

It's just that some musicians believe that the grass is greener on the other side, so that's why they stay in Europe, the US or Canada when their band finishes touring. It used to be like this back in the 90s. If I recall, when Quartier Latin toured Europe in 1994, a few members stayed behind. Zaiko is well-structured compared to Lacoste's band but Nyoka Longo can't stop his bandmates from not returning to Kinshasa.

It's like they said, Europe is paradise.

If its Lola as rumored then I will not have words!! Lola stands a chance to lead Zaiko one day, why would he stay in the US? Sad!! Or they only prefer old shapeless white women to playing in one vintage orchestra?
