he says mbasu has mental problems due to excess of alcohol and drugs and that even sometimes in quartier latin he was so drunk that he slept behind the stage during of after concert
maybe this is why none of the groups picked him after QL
Ferrer in my opinion manages his band like the two wenge leaders...ie he has some of the traits of werra and jb. when he wants to get rid of you he ignores you and he is always recruiting...his loyalty to certain musicians is tight eg kunzarndo and Charlie solo every one says they are a liability yet he retains them..he doesn't use sebalo yet he is a good atalaku got rid of Toureg (was there a reason ?)..by the way there is a new guy whose name is like chiko who sing like Mondogo formerly QL..Marc house is indispensable ... what do you think of his management style ?
guys the only concert I have attended of a Congolese band based in Congo is that of Ferre ....as Pepe says we are few...they don't understand sebene and most bands would be bored.....BCBG would be asked to sing mulolo . Fally is a hit because of his world music appeal Zaiko because of its laid back style simple dance moves and old school audience... off the cuff do you guys know that once koffi had a Kenyan dancer ?
Notice that JB in live concerts is into animation even prancing around like an atalaku praising band members ? any particular reason... how do you rate his performance ?
