@ken nyakone said: kiekiekie Kabose was so ugly in his early days with wmmm that my girl friend used to ask me if he was ok. I like him now so much, he has built his image so much and now he knows how to put on like a celebrity. I don't understand why Election was a flop while it had some good music with a perfect video.
Hehehehe, yeah, back in the days when he was dark and before he got a bit of swag he looked so funny, in the league of short ataluku Demukuse Roi David with funny faces both of them.
Election is an excellent album but I think like most albums there are just too many rhumbas. Kabose is an excellent but not as powerful as the likes of Ferre so he will always be in their shadows.
@archos said: lol yes,he probably got a older-looking face just like chai ngenge because a guy like celeo born in 1978 calls him "petit na nga"
Yeah, all these boys are actually young chaps including Bill,Celeo, Genta,Cellulaire,Chai,Heritier etc, the big boys are Rio,JDL,Zulema, Eboa,Lacoste,Chella Mputu and others.
@archos said: haha he also reminded him that mbua, mombamba and code moral have more success than cherie enlevee and even atshuda's song on balle de match is already heavily requested at concert even before album is out
@jdog said: So your saying there should be a generique featuring only Muana Congo and Ruth Nzele?
No,am saying,Ferre's generiques sound better when all the atalukus he's got contribute not just Kunzardo and Bercy as them two alone on a generique run out of lyrics so they just keep repeating the same stuff. Ferre has got other atalukus beside Muana Congo,Ruth,Kunzardo and Bercy, some of them he used on Qui Est Derrier Toi which had better sebene than Boite Noire.
Marc House, are these the only sunglasses he's got, all interviews he goes with the same. Guy Digital tried to sing like his brother but just couldn't match, ah,Ferre is miles ahead. Vibration has a very good clear voice, hope he gets more parts on next songs!! Look at Chikito, fat boy now!!
Nah, some of his songs are crap, I just appreciate the good rhumba ones and am beginning to tolerate his voice and monotony mainly because he puts emotion in the songs. As for the sebene/dance songs, he can do better for himself by stopping the habit of slowing down the sebene with unnecessary and repetitive slow rhythms like this one where he does gay dances.
Nice one. Finally seen Titina playing guitar, on his first album he was credited for playing rhythm guitar so this is proof enough that indeed he plays rhythm and you can tell when Mboka Liya breaks the solo and Makaba stops the bass, you can hear the keyboard and rhythm guitar clearly.
@shamala said: DJ SLY do so....and what do you think of Ruth Nzele Ferre's atalaku?
She's an excellent ataluku and has what it takes to make a difference given enough time on generiques except she likes nasty animation so am sure most of her stuff will cause Ferre problems with the censorship board.
