Lobeso leaving Maison Mere is something I have wanted for the last 10 years. Ferre can have him and I am willing to pay Ferre to keep him.

Look this is a very simple. It's sour grapes cause Adolphe & Masela got elbowed from Maison Mere. If I remember correctly, Masela complained that they were being asked to wear uniforms and Werra was appearing on stage as the boss yet the group belonged to all three. I suppose the final straw for Masela is when he heard Masion Mere singers shouting "basi kitoko na muziki ya Werrason"

Blaise Bula is a failure and he wants to use his 2 other high profile former colleagues' success to remain relevant. Life goes on. Forget the nostalgia about Wenge BCBG 4x4 and start working hard to make your own name. I am tired of listening to grown men crying wolf cause they can't get their own way.

I'm one of those people who never buys albums but will download it for free and Spotify will never get my money, so on that note can one of you upload this Werra mini album so that we can judge it fairly....
This forum does not need anyone of your ilk & I hope the mods consider banning or suspending you for inciting criminal activity. Congolese music is dying because of piracy. This forum exists to support growth of African music and shouldn't be tolerant to anyone or anything that stands to defeat this purpose.

Nigga you must of lost your damn mind to brand me a criminal.....learn the word piracy before you open your mouth.  Did you witness me using a CD burner to make copies of music and sell it in Zimbabwe? Moron.....don't talk as if u don't download music on the net uploaded by someone else....I bet you're one of those people who has a YouTube page and uploads music videos for free before the artist even release it....nonsense

You snipey little piece of shit you think you are tough spewing nonsense from the safety of your keyboard? A halfwit & cowardly keyboard warrior looking to pick up a fight there never was.........I do not need evidence of you copying CDs or selling them in Zimbabwe because I have challenged you on your request for free music & your sworn statement that; "you never buy music."....That is what you said so stop attempting to make yourself look cuter than your intelligence allows. Off course the super idiotic intelligence radiates from baboons such like you who talk while chewing shit.  You probably need a serviette.........I have no time to indulge your stupidity and hope Admins consider banning you. Sad you were born this way.

Congolese Music / Was Fally ever in Nouvelle Image Jazz Band?
« on: September 12, 2015, 18:55 »
If not why is he copying their style? Someone......Archos, JDog, Newside...... educate me please.........I loved Nouvelle Image Jazz especially around 1996 when Doudou was the animateur and I have the album they made thereafter. I've got a few VHS videos and believe me, I have been looking for the past 3 months but do not have any that features Fally. If its the case that he is pillaging this once great band, then he is a fucking cheat...........but I am willing to forgive him for reviving this beat

Listen to Sonzo - Libre Parcours & Mungala - Kosa Leka

Here is Doudou Kibinda the Stalwart of Nouvelle Image

Werrason is a smart business man. He holds loyalty to business, to the profession and not to people like his erstwhile colleague........this is another clear demonstration of his impeccable business acumen.......forming strategic alliances with people that matter at a particular time & discarding when not required.

Werra only had two best atalakus......Bill & Celeo.....everyone else that came after is shit. Bercy flatters to deceive but he has a tendency to annoy so I am not holding much hope. Demukuse came with a one off gimmick and that was it.........Bridage? Don't get me started on this. The guy was as annoying as fuck. He completely ruined Werra's music and its taken a turn for the worse now. Its refrain after refrain without uninterrupted sebene as it used to be with Bill & Celeo. Werra needs to go back to basics and start to make the hard hitting gimickless sebene of 1997-2005.

I maintain that Werrason was unbeatable when he had this team.......this was a team of stars. Even the Quartier Latin of Koffi fronted by Sam Tshintu, one of the musicians I deeply respect; couldn't match this quality. JB Mpiana couldn't live with this.....Koffi couldn't live with this. Japonais.....what can I say. The way he switches at 12 minutes is pure genius. He starts playing the riff borrowed by Kapaya years later & played on Alerte General......paye paye tokomela........can't stop playing this.

Happy bank holidays folks in UK

Werrason has dealt with much bigger defections than this. There are formidable musicians that have left Wenge Musica in the past; not this small time wannabe trying to talk himself up as if he is indispensable.

The list is long & here is some of them that have severed ties with Werrason & he has survived impeccably

JB Mpiana
Blaise Bula
Makaba
Afande
Ferre
Serge Mabiala
Kapaya
Mbokaliya

This boy is not even within a shout of the great names I have listed above and there he is running his mouth as though Werrason will fail if he departs. His presence is untenable and he must go & go now. That message must be passed on to Werrason before this drama degenerates into a pantomime without clowns.

What reality. Let's call a spade a spade. Unlike other musicians like Werrason and others, JB Mpiana like Ferre can do literally anything and perform solo accompanied by instrumentalists, he's also charismatic and that's one thing that keeps some of us glued to him. Yes he would be far much better if he was more active musically ie performing day and night and releasing hit after hit but no, he's chosen to relax because music is not his primary source of income so we have to live with it.

I made reference to the issue of combattants and Zenith in particular just to remind us why JB Mpiana doesn't seem to care about music anymore, he's comfortable doing concerts at home playing for filthy rich millionaires and fellow diamond dealers and politicians who pay hundreds of dollars for him to perform at their hotels and lodges than travel to Europe to play to 300 people paying $10 each.

By the way, i explained to you why i could not see you and many others including relatives, my trip got messed up, politics had nothing to do with it.

Voila....the money is in Africa & thats fact. You'll be hard presssed to find a decent hard working person living in the diaspora; who is willing to part with $50 or more for a few hours of watching someone screaming into the microphone. Saw a video of a guy called Ted Tendai (tendai is very much a Zimbabwean word & name which means "thank you"), giving JB Mpiana wads of Benjamins for hours no end.

If JB or Werra came over, I cannot do what Tendai is doing & I do not think anyone in Europe is mad enough to do it. In all honesty, trips to Europe are loss making avenues to promotion more than they are money making ventures. I think the combattants have unwittingly setup musicians to make more money in Africa.
