Congolese Music / Re: IS ZULEMA A COMEDIAN?
« on: August 08, 2022, 04:06 »
I think he was a comedian or an actor before becoming a musician for JB Mpiana.

I have been listening to this song big time. This song should have been where Koffi would be called MOPAO Mokonzi. I mean this song says why he deserves the nickname MOPAO Mokonzi. This song should have been more popular than it was. Koffi Olomide did a great job here. Listen to this song, we know that this song is a classic.

Right on cue with your seeing unnatural dislike of Koffi to breakdown the level of discourse…
Again, I will repeat. Who put Koffi on the scene? Who got him exposed to the public? Papa Wemba. Without Papa Wemba, Koffi Olomide would not be the icon he is today. Who put Fally on the spotlight? Who formed him and who got him to be a big star he is today? Koffi Olomide. Without Koffi Olomide, Fally Ipupa would not be the big star he is today.
Loool I already knew he was gonna somehow find a way to blame Koffi into it, it’s getting embarrassing.
By stating what Koffi has done is embarrassing for you? By stating his ingratitude of Papa Wemba's help getting to be the icon he is today is embarrassing? By stating that he insulted Papa Wemba by calling himself Papa Top and Papa Plus is embarrassing for you?

What is actually embarrasing is that Koffi wants to pretend he is a saint as Beniko Popolipo stated. He wants to pretend that he is a pure human being. That is embarrasing. He has never admitted to hurting those who helped him especially Papa Wemba. That is embarrassing. What is embarrassing is that Koffi began attacking Fally Ipupa for simply choosing to go solo. That is embarrassing. Backstabbing friends like Beniko is embarrassing.

Now who is following his path? Fally Ipupa. Fally is attacking the man who made him who he is. Fally wants to downplay the role Koffi did for him. This so called legend wants to pretend that he is not self made which is embarrassing in itself. Now he wants to pretend that he had no one helping him. That is embarrassing. If I were Koffi, I would never talk to Fally ever again. Koffi needs to just distance himself from Fally and focus on reconciling with the likes of Jordan Kusa and Sam Tshintu. That would be something good. Koffi needs to let Fally go and forget about him. Fally will fall soon. Mark my words. Ingratitude is cheap. Fally is an ingratitude man much like Koffi is as well.

Better, they do a duet on stage. That would be something very good.

Tel père, tel fils

Fally and Koffi are the same kind of people. They both are ungrateful. They both resent that they were helped by many people.

Koffi hates the fact that he was helped by likes of Nyoka Longo, Pepe Kalle, Kester Emeneya, Josky Kiambukuta, Bozi Boziana and Papa Wemba especially Wemba. Papa Wemba brought Koffi to the scene. If it was not for Papa Wemba, no one else would have even looked at Koffi. It was Papa Wemba who embraced the young Koffi. Koffi never liked the fact that Papa Wemba did a lot things for him which explains why years later, he tried to provoke Papa Wemba with nicknames of Papa Top or Papa Plus. It was Koffi who started the conflict with Papa Wemba and their relationship would be on a downhill sprial. That explains why Papa Wemba was done with Koffi during his final years. Not along ago when a man claimed to be Koffi's son, Koffi attacked Wemba again. SMH.

Fally Ipupa resents the fact that Koffi groomed and made him. Koffi has every right to say that he made Fally. HE DID. Without Koffi, Fally would be an ordinary singer like the rest of his Quartier Latin colleagues. Koffi did everything to help Fally rise to where he is today. On top of that, Fally had help from David Monsoh and Maika Munan. Without them helping him, Fally would not be as big as he is today. Fally needs to stop pretending to be a self made man. He is not. He was, is and will always be a Koffi Olomide product. PERIOD.

Koffi Olomide needs to accept the fact that without Papa Wemba, he would not be the icon he is today.
Fally Ipupa needs to accept the fact that without Koffi Olomide, he would not be one of the top artists today.

I end again.
Tel père, tel fils

This is a good generique. Good job by Aimelia Lias.

Congratulations Mopao Mokonzi Le Rambo Quadraman Koffi Olomide. He deserves it. He is a living legend for us. Koffi Olomide should have had this long time ago but still he got it. Congratulations to Koffi Olomide for this success.

This show makes me happy. They are not the same but they are improving. That is a good sign. Wenge toujours.

His ego is too big. Too big. He needs to humble himself.

This interview is very good indeed. I appreciate it. Celeo at least though stays consistent on most things. Many people like to flip flop for buzz.

Why not share it actually? It can be 50 to 50 percent. That is much better.

To my great surprise, this was a good interview. Yes Roga Roga is an arrogant asshole but he actually managed to act decent which is what we are not accustomed from him these days. He actually discussed in more detail about the creation of Extra Musica than expected. I will give him one credit. Though him and Durell Loemba are in bad terms, he did acknowledge the contribution of Loemba in Extra Musica which again I would not expect. So actually this interview is worth watching.

Thank you for translation. This song was a response to Papa Wemba's Okoningana I believe.
