I saw on instagram where appeared that Carine attacked Koffi over Fally Ipupa. I don't know what is going but it looks very bad.

Who sang best with Werrason?

Ferre Gola
Heritier
or
JB Mpiana

Why in your opinion
I am looking forward to your responses.

In Josky tribute, I will have five singers that never sang with Josky Kiambukuta.

You will have five candidates to choose.
Djenga Espérant Kisangani
Felix Wazekwa
Nzaya Nzayadio
Papy Tex
Desouza Santu

Who would have been a better duet partner to Josky and why?

Since we are celebrating women this month, I a got question for you guys.

Do you think this dream duet is a good or a bad idea?
Barbara Kanam and Cindy Le Coeur

What do you guys think?

In Valentine's day special, Franco did a love song with a promotion about Bralima alias Primus.
Franco tells a story of a woman that was mocked, insulted and humiliated because she choose Primus only obeying her husband and also in honor of her family as well.

Hey guys, I have a blog called Classic Ambiance (as some you know already).

I actually want input from you guys about what singers and animators you wish had worked together or should work together if they are alive.

Give me the dream duets, trios and quartets of singers as well as dream duets, trios and quartets of animators that you want me to do in my blog.

Please give your input. I want it.

One of the few times where Cindy had little influence in this song. Babia Ndonga (rip) was very present in this song. Babia should have gotten more solo vocals on the album Abrabacada in my humble opinion.
You will hear Babia's voice more than others in the choirs
Balançoire

Look at the King of Soukous Pepe Kalle having more energy than much of the Empire Bakuba cast. Enjoy after the funny skit from comedians with one acting like Mobutu Sese Seko Kuku Ngbendu wa Zabanga.

Here is Koffi dancing to his upcoming song Badanse ya Bacongolais. I love it. I hope you enjoy the snippet.

Congolese Music / How Koffi Olomide and Bill Clinton are alike?
« on: September 20, 2020, 20:41 »
I have seen Bill Clinton's recent antics. But it is nothing new. It reminds a bit of Koffi Olomide. I am not saying that Bill Clinton and Koffi Olomide are the same exactly but they have common traits among themselves.

1) They both believe that they are the greatest of all times.
Bill Clinton and Koffi Olomide both like to speak as if they are the number one people and no one else can pass them. While most artists believe this, they have a tendency to go overboard sometimes.

2) They both try to minimize their mentors.
Koffi Olomide and Bill Clinton like to act like that they were entirely self-made or they like minimize the roles of their mentors whom help them get their feet going. Koffi's mentor was Papa Wemba and Bill Clinton's mentor was Tutu Callugi. Last year, Bill Clinton implied that Tutu Callugi made no impact on Congolese music. On Koffi's recent interview with Ado, you can notice that Koffi did not really want to speak on Papa Wemba much.

3) They like to create conflicts
Bill Clinton and Koffi Olomide appear to enjoying creating conflicts. With Koffi Olomide, it is with JB Mpiana, Nyoka Longo, Werrason, Papa Wemba, Fally Ipupa, Ferre Gola, and even Pepe Kalle (at least according to Nyoka Longo). With Bill Clinton, it is Ferre Gola, Celeo Scram and Tutu Callugi. Bill Clinton and Koffi Olomide are the ones who probably have the poorest relation with their fellow Conglese music colleagues. They both like doing diss songs at others. Bill Clinton has done songs insulting Werrason while Koffi has attacked Papa Wemba, Nyoka Longo and even Fally Ipupa on his songs.

Agree or disagree?

Congolese Music / Your TOP Five Quartier Latin Animators
« on: September 11, 2020, 05:07 »
Here is my list of top 5 animators of Quartier Latin

1. CNN
2. Brigade
3. Mboshi
4. Somono
5. Man who animated on Nyataquance.

CNN is the best animator of Quartier Latin because he brought strong animations and he was the one who gave force on his animations. You saw that on Attenant, Force de Frappe and Monde Arabe.

What about your list?

Franco had become the OKJ leader after Vicky left OKJ in 1960 for Africa Jazz of Grand Kalle. He would be the leader in 1961. However, Vicky decided to return to OKJ in 1963. From there, Franco and Vicky were a force of nature together under the OK Jazz banter. Franco and Vicky would be great when they did their duets together. It was in great harmony. Franco was the second voice singer while Vicky was the first voice singer. Franco and Vicky would hang out and go to events. By this period, Vicky would be vice-president and Franco was president. Franco was younger than Vicky Longomba but thanks to Vicky's departure in 1960, Franco would be the sole leader of OKJ.

Franco and Vicky's relationship would go to a downhill in 1970. Why? According to World Service Fan (a African/Latin Blog), it was Simaro who played a role by bringing back Kwamy. Since Franco allowed Kwamy's return in OKJ, then Vicky would be angry and let to a fallout with Franco and Vicky left officially in 1971 to form a short formed band Lovy du Zaire. Kwamy would leave OKJ around 1972 and 1973 period before he would end his music career with Tabu Ley.

I got the impression that Vicky and Simaro were never friends. They seemed to just learn to tolerate each other for Franco's sake. At the end, Simaro won and his moves would get him to be Vice President of OKJ.
