Congolese Music / Trivia for Grand Maitre Franco
« on: July 07, 2014, 20:28 »
Which singer said the following "My only regret is not collaborating with Luambo Makiadi alias Franco"

Choices are:
Defao
Koffi Olomide
Papa Wemba
Nyoka Longo

Who do you think said that?

Take your time Archos. Life can be a pain in the butt.

1803
honestly i dont know exactly the songs but  it was in albums before 1990
You are probably right. Jules Kibens does know how to make good lyrics. Now I understand why JB values him so much. He is a good artistic person. EMO, you may hate Jules Kibens but he is creative. Kibens has been in the music scene for a long time. I am guessing that he is older than JB Mpiana. Pepe Kalle was one of his many artists that he wrote for.

I have questions
What songs did he write for Pepe Kalle? Were the ones that went to other artists?
What songs did he sing with Pepe Kalle?

Congolese Music / Re: PAPA WEMBA ADDICTIVE SONGS
« on: July 07, 2014, 16:31 »
One thing I notice is that Papa Wemba still sounds like Papa Wemba back in the day. Age has no impact. That is the reason why he is the top 5 or top 10 singers of all time in Congolese music.

1806
What is the purpose of having these two together when their bosses hate each other (if that is true).

1807
Well what do you expect from fools like Sankara. He has been stupid for a long time. I am sorry but he gets no respect. Werrason needs a new street person to get this job. Sankara has gotten dumber and dumber, the more he talks.

Sankara Azali zoba na bazoba. Azali mawa pona Werrason. Sankara azali mwana.

1808
It looks like Koffi really wants to promote his label Koffi Central.

1809
What is the basis of conflict between Blaise Bula and Reddy Amisi? Some time ago, we saw them throw insults at each other.

1810
This is so sad for BCBG. But I wish him good luck. It looks like Congolese religious music is becoming more and more popular.

1811
Djouna Mumbafu is excellent. I wish he would release new music soon. But I wish Lofombo and Djouna Mumbafu would stay together. I know they are still friends but wished they would continue together musically. They were close during the days of Pepe Kalle.

Gosh T-Pain is loving this. Ever since T-Pain came, now everyone wants to autotune and do it regularly. T-Pain is laughing all the way to the bank.

Thank you Shamala.

Now let's get started with this song here

1814
Werrason is trying hard to get other people besides Congolese to like his music. He thinks that style will help him. It will do nothing to him.

What comedian. He is no comedian. He is a joke. That is a more accurate word.

Azali mobali zoba moko. Ayebi bomoyi te. Kasi toyebi yango wana. Azali comedien te. Azali pona bolema na bolema mingi. Nayebi. Afingaki batu bantango mingi.

Kaisari, I get you though. He can be funny but usually he is not. Kwanini anayo hasira sana dhidi ya watu wengi? Swali wangu kwa jamani.
...FPPK sio hasira maoni yetu ndio tofauti na yangu ni machache; mgema akisifiwa tembo ulitia maji.
Kaisari, unajua maisha hivi. Mimi mutu vijana sana. Ndio Sankara ni mutu mzima. Anaweza kusema anataka kusema.
