This is something nice. It is good to see Adolphe, JB  and Werrason. I wonder why Blaise Bula did not come?

Why Koffi Olomide should have been a member of Viva La Musica.
He would have been Papa Wemba's reliable duet partner

Koffi Olomide being a songwriter, he was already considered golden treasure by some people's eyes. While it was true, he was considered a "faux chanteur" but if you listen to a few songs, his voice melded beautifully with Papa Wemba's voice.

Listen to Bien Amiee

Listen how lovely Koffi Olomide and Papa Wemba sounded together. Listen how the harmony was always on point. You can feel that Koffi and Wemba understood one another without too much difficulty.

Papa Wemba always considered Koffi as his "young brother". Though, he was against Koffi being a singer, he eventually decided to give a shot to sing with Koffi. When he sang with Koffi, it was clear that Wemba wanted to make sure to sing with him.

Papa Wemba even admitted that he was with Koffi when preparing a tribute song to Mobutu's first wife, he decided to sing with Koffi instead of singing solo.

Koffi Olomide would have been a loyal soldier to Papa Wemba in my opinion because he would always make sure to sing well to please Papa Wemba and pleasing Papa Wemba is not always easy. But I think Koffi would have been beneficial to Papa Wemba for three reasons.
1) Koffi is a hard worker which is something Papa Wemba loved.
2) Koffi wants to be validated all the time.
3) Koffi understands Papa Wemba musically.

More importantly, let's say people like Kester Emeneya were to go, Koffi would become Papa Wemba's number one singing collaborator because he would work harder to get Wemba's confidence on a regular basis.

I will comeback to say why Koffi should have not joined Viva La Musica.

I am going to play devil advocates. I will say both reasons. Why Koffi should have joined Viva La Musica and why Koffi should have not joined Viva La Musica.

This is a good interview. Who is Alesh?

In wake of Koffi Olomide's 45 year anniversary special. I am going to the first debate here. In fact I want to hear from you guys. There are those who claim that Koffi Olomide co-founded Viva La Musica. This leads to my question. Do you think that Koffi should have been a member of Viva La Musica? If so, why? If not, why?

Let's start the debate.

Koffi has 45 years of history. The good, the bad and the ugly. I just want Koffi to bring back Tcha Tcho fully. He needs to do another dance that overrule Papa Mobimba. We need a new dance that can move the whole Africa like Papa Mobimba did.

37
Koffi always want to feel like he is on top all the time. It gets ridiculous at times. I know it comes from others but sometimes Koffi can tell fans, that he is good.

38
He is one of the best singers. I am happy that he is doing better.

Congolese Music / Re: NEW GENERIQUE BY JUNIOR WENDO

This is a good generique. Better than most generiques.

Unfortunately these so-called combattants will still focus on music. They should let musicians perform and just not go there at all.

Koffi loves to showoff even when it is not necessary.

The thing with Apocalyps was that people influenced him to stay in Europe. He was scared when hearing stories about how Koffi treated Mboshi in Kinshasa when coming back from Olympia/Zenith. People were saying to him that he would get the same treatment once returning to Kinshasa because of animating for Fally's album Droit Chemin.
Was Koffi or his team were upset that Apocalypse played on Fally's Droit Chemin?

This is so sad. I am sure some critics will accuse Ferre Gola of doing sacrifice on his own young brother. My condolences to Ferre and his family.

Most of the animators today are worthless. This is just one example.
