The female singers are very good. It is good that they harmonized together. Bozi found a good copycat with the young male singer. Bouro Mpela is perfect for Bozi Boziana because Mpela comes from the Evoloko school of singing.
1) Get the Congolese diaspora in USA, UK, Belgium, Canada and France to organize to get labels going 2) We need to talk to our artists and tell them what they need to do to boost Congolese music again. 3) Tell them that we need at least 2 songs with sebenes. 4) Tell them to make 2 generiques on a given album. 5) Tell them to make sure that all artists get paid and copyright is resolved. 5) Get the Congolese who can work with social media networks so that Congolese music can get more attention than it has at the moment.
Actually it is not shocking at all. It started during the late 1970s when Sam Mangwana, Nyboma, Lokassa ya Mbongo, Dizzy Mandjeku and others went to Ivory Coast to sell Congolese music there and perform there. It is not surprising to see this.
I am not surprised about what Kinanga Boeing 737. Dilu is not as gentle as he pretends to be. Yaya Londa did say that Pepe Kalle was much a easier person to be around than Dilu Dilumona and Papy Tex which explains why he was leader and not Dilu and Papy. It was clear that Dilu Dilumona was angry at Pepe Kalle for creating Delta Force. Also it appears that Papy Tex was angry about it as well. By 1998, Pepe Kalle had a major fallout with Dilu Dilumona and Papy Tex due to Delta Force. 1998 was a very bad year for Empire Bakuba. Once Pepe Kalle died, then all the musicians got at eachother's throats. It is clear that Kinanga is deeply hated by many Empire Bakuba members and that is why you never see him at the Empire reunion concerts. The only reason why Kinanga Boeing 737 was in Empire Bakuba was only because of Pepe Kalle.
The problem with us is that we don't appreciate good music and we demand constant change which plays a role why we have mediocre music. That is also one thing that we need to take responsibility. For example, if we had allowed a dance like Ndombolo or Kwasa Kwasa for five years then it would give people chance to give something years later to keep our music going.
Reddy Amisi is a great singer but not a great person to have as a friend. He has a big ego which explains why many Viva members did not along with him. Only Djuna Djanana did who everyone loves anyway.
There are news circulating coming from Koffi Olomide himself that he will join the political party of the current Congolese Senate Majority Leader Bahati Lukwebo. He even signed paper as a official member. Here is the video about this news
