Congolese Music / Re: WHO ALSO HAS SIMILAR THOUGHTS???
« on: September 17, 2018, 13:46 »
My thinking is that none of these guys expected Werra to get any reasonable success without them & they are finding it difficult to swallow his success humbly. That's why they never seem to have anything good to say about him. Werras has his flaws. But If all of his old frinds are scrutinized they too have their flaws which they never speak about. Maybe the journalists also like to steer the conversation towards the direction of Werra's flows for Buzz or whatever but it's time they grow out of it and move on

197
yeah thats sad and as usual in comments people are delighted but then when he'll say in another interview something about nsone with papy mboma they'll roast him again, total circus
thinking about (nothing to do with werra himself) but the ex maison mere guys are by a countrymile those who have the most conflicts within them, lacoste vs jdt, lacoste vs baby, fabro and deplick who love throwing shots at heritier, celeo vs bill, celeo vs brigade, brigade who disses ferre, robinio vs deplick, robinio who disses ferre, taddet and miel who cant stand each other, miel who attacks heritier at any occasion..they forget so quickly all what they have been through together

These guys are beefing among themselves because it's pretty much Maison Mere graduates alone on the field. Let's not forget the likes of Djino who has never stopped beefing with BCBG. the likes of Suzuki have had on and off issues with Koffi since I don't know when. There's also the famous Fally vs Ferre/ Fabro vs Fally which has got nothing to do with Maison Mere.

It's showbizz. They have to beef with someone

198
Simply because that's how Werra has raised them, he iniws well that if Ferre, Fabregas, Deplick, Brigade, Celeo and Bill reunite togheter it wl be the end.of Werra so the administration led by Sankara do everything, everything to make th fight.

This is ridiculous to blame the behaviors of adults on Werra. They were once together as Les Marquis & we didn't see this prophetic end of Werra.

Congolese Music / Re: Didi Kinuani is back

Nah, the one guy that let that happen inexplicably doesn’t promote his current woman anymore to avert that happening again :D

 ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

I'm surprised and impressed by Ferre's attempt. Not really good but he could pass the message back then. In the couple of times that I've watched him perform in Nairobi he's never seemed to be able to put two English words together.

It's also crazy how Werra seems to have always been obsessed with speaking English yet it's only recently that he seems to have started giving it serious effort. Maybe that's one of the reasons he likes Bikorino a lot.. the fact that he can speak English almost fluently. There was another hilarious clip of a concert where Roi David & Werra were speaking English on stage.

Pole Position, I honestly don't know much about Davido let alone other Nigerian and Namibian artists. I don't follow their music. My music interest revolves around DRC, Tanzania & a bit of Kenya.

But again even here in Kenya we have musicians who are known to involve themselves heavily in spiritual stuff. Many of them will vehemently deny it if you ask them but behind the scenes their handlers & friends turned foes will confess of such. And it's not just in music. It's also very common in sports especially football. But nobody openly admits to it. I know it's the same story in the neighboring Tanzania.

I find it very strange that artists would openly admit to practicing satanism & witchcraft & hinging all their success on it & still exist comfortably within their society like. And no, On a personal level it doesn't stop me from listening to their music

I am starting to listen to less and less Congolese music lately because honeslty I am getting enough of people praising demons, and sacrificing peoole and singing and bragging about it in the sing, I mean it is disgusting I understand that they come from poor realities but, enough is enough

In other countries  people practice these spiritual stuff too but they mostly do it in darkness and secrecy. I find it very strange the way they publicly confess & brag about satanism and witchcraft

203
I liked this guy. I hope he'll still get enough space to shine in La Team

That spiritual stuff though....

Maison Mere fans are the most stupidest fans I have ever seen...their way of thinking is so stupid and unbelievable.

This response alone makes you the smartest guy in the room. Congratulations!!

Kiadi eh, have you ever read some of the older post? Werra is the stingiest leader and are donors who pay musicians 100% of the time unless musicians ask Werra himself. Everyone knows this even the rocks, it is not normal in my mind for a guy to don't pay the musicians and expect loyalty and respect

Still doesn't explain why they still stayed in the band for 7-10 years without income. There was a mutual benefit for both. And I'm not advocating for non payment of musicians or law of the jungle in band management.

For the Franco Werra comparison, wow, are you really comparing Franco and werra? Franco and Tabu Ley are the reason why Congolese music was so much famous abroad not surely Wetra and Franco is waaaay more better to sing then Werra,

Not comparing Franco & Werra in any way. If you read through you definitely understood that my point is there is so much more to being a musician than being able to sing. Werra is not the greatest of singers, so what? Does that make him a bad musician if he can still produce good music?

For the reassembling band, if he wasn't so stingy and self center no one would have left, reassembling a band it is not a good thing Werra of today is like a 4 to 10 level respect to thw one of Bill, Heritier and etc who was a 10 on 10.

Everyone loses musicians. Wazekwa, Koffi, Ferre, Karmapa, even the JB whom you claim is very good to his musicians. There'll always be a reason for musicians to leave.
Bill & Co would still have left either way. If not for money it will have been for something else. It's the way of the business. About Werra being 4/10, that's an opinion not a fact. Everyone is entitled to theirs.

Let's make Werra make a worldwide tour and see hiw many noncongolese white, arab, asian, and latino eople show to his concerts. If I criticize Werra it is not because i hate him but because I am a fan and this Wenge will not go anywhere with this system it is normal to change people every year

Hehehe. You are taking things too far bro. Which Congolese artist can get Arabs, Latinos and Asians to come for their concerts? Let's take it easy on Werra aisee.

About Werra not speaking to Herritier. Who says he must? Just let Heritier do his thing & let Werra do his thing. They don't even have to like each other in my opinion. And if talking is so important, Werra talks to Fabro & Robinho. Is that not good enough or must he just talk to Heritier & Ferre? I don't get it

206
Stop being such a blind Stan werra clearly sends sankara cause if he didn't he'd have fired him long ago, like koffi did with kisindjora and others when they went on tv to talk about wazekwa and others or like fally did with tresor kongolo

Same Koffi who sent Kirikou & Chikito to talk shit about Ferre? No one is an angel in these beefings. Ferre sends Marc House to do it too. Watta does the same. Koffi does it. We shouldn't use different standards to judge Werra & Sankara

207
What does this argument have to do with Werra trying to recruit Manda Chante. I’m lost...

You've been here long enough & should have gotten used to it by now  ;D ;D ;D ;D Every post about Werra & Maison Mere will always end up with an argument about Werra not paying his musicians & Werra not being able to sing

208
Werra should be the one giving reconnaissance to his ex colleagues, because he wasn't paying them first and foremost secondly because they stuck with him even though administration did whole ti keep those 2003 guys unpayed,

How did they survive all these years if they didn't earn from being Maison Mere members? Some of these arguments are so full of bile and don't really make sense. Why didn't they leave earlier? One way or another they earned from being in Maison Mere & when they felt that they could earn more they left. It definitely was a mutual benefiting relationship.

you work your ass off for a guy who cannot even sing (Werrason can't sing this is why he keeps on that tika bana ba yemba)

Here we go again with the "Werra can't sing" line. So fresh. Never gets old. SMH Franco was not the best singer of his generation but he made great music that we still enjoy to date. JB Mpiana was one of the best singer & voices in his generation but BCBG has been stuck in a rut for almost a decade. Babia Ndonga was one of the best voices & singers of QLI and indeed DRC but he didn't make much of himself outside QLI. Bro, there's much more to music than the ability to be a flamboyant vocalist.

if.it.wasn't for.the group Werra with be just a street band sir making songs about food

LOL. Werra & Maison Mere are still the top guys in Congolese music years and years after those guys left. But you are here still telling yourself that without that group, Werra would be nothing. You forget that it was a group he put together by design and not by accident. he has reassembled his band 3  or 4 times after that

Ferre, Fabregas, even Robinio make more views, money and album sales now in confront of Werra who got a comeback only bdcause of 7 Jours.
I've seen fantastic music like Manda's Socrate which barely has 100k views while Fally's Eloko Oyo is headed to 45M views. Youtube views is not the correct benchmark for what is good music or who is a greater artist. Many of these artists with youtube views cannot even pull half a concert hall outside DRC while Werra still attracts crowds wherever he goes.
And if Werra got a "comeback only because of 7 Jours" who should get the credit for that success? Oh wait... Anyone else but not Werra.

I just don't understand the bile against Werra especially in this forum. Werra is not faultless. But he is not the devil people try to paint him here.

Congolese Music / Re: Bercy full participation with team Wata
« on: August 13, 2018, 13:48 »
Truth is a lot of people here never thought much of Bercy until he left Maison Mere. And it was the same case for Watta, Miel, Fabro, Arnake, olivera etc etc. Guys always talked of how they couldn't control their vocals & how they wouldn't last as solo artists. But the moment they left Maison Mere they became the best thing to have happened to Congolese music. I know the same will be said of Jamaique & Goldbert the day they leave. It's the process here

Bercy is better than all the atalaku MM has now...Werra would love to have him back.

If werra wanted to have Bercy back, he would have him back. Bercy is not better than anyone.
He can create vibe but he's not even better than Ambulance to be fair. He might come ahead of Ambulance because Ambulance is kinda timid but not because he's better.
