Maitre @archos, who are the two vocalists who sing after Hugor ? After them, there is a short chorus then Ferrari sings. The first of them sounds similarly to Chikito(though I know its not him). I have heard the new guys like Janely(not sure the spelling), Anelka, Yves, Energie and the one who looks like Guy Digital sing in repetition but I can't place the two voices in the song. Sometimes the voices are different when they sing live and when it's recorded in studio

Well Congolese I think was known for sebene, I think that’s what gained popularity. Especially for people that don’t know the language.
I am one of those who don't know the language but I just want to listen to rhumba. Sebene are all the same. I don't expect anything new. A sebene/generique will sound almost the same like all the others. So if I need it I can pick any from say 2000 and be good to go. No need for a new one. Maybe the cris but since i don't understand that doesn't figure in my equation.

You got it wrong bro. I don't hate sebene/generique. It's just that am not mad for it. I do enjoy but not over rhumba. I therefore look forward to new releases dominated by rhumbas. Like as i type this Par respect is playing and it's so fire but even if I was listening to Mpunda it's like the same thing. But bro this Par respect is well cooked tbh. Even me the rhumba defender gotta admit..still mon plaisir is up to this moment my best of the ones I've listened. Am on the sixth song. Will give a more comprehensive opinion once done with all. But Volume 2 sounds more solid. It erases the disappointment I got with Volume 1.
There is a Michigan in Mon plaisir and Haute les mains. Is he the Werrason Michigan and if so someone kindly explain. Did he get vocals in Balle de Match then leave to join Werra but his vocals still made the album or did he leave Werrason just recently to join JB and was able to get vocals in BDM? Or is this a different Michigan?

The argument "This forum hates Ferre" is ridicolous, Koffi, Fally and especially JB gets insulted and called out everytime they make a bad project Fally's formula 7 is a clear example for that and for Koffi how many people clowned him here for that ridicolous shit he was doing of following trends, instead of being original and stay true to his roots like Zaiko did? JB and Koffi lately didn't receive much criticism because their albums are excellent and I mean... we all have ears and we all have been extremely harsh on JB and Koffi for the past years, oh yes and what about Werra? This is the outcome of reading to respond and not to understand.
I listened to the song once and am not repeating it because it is not my type of song. From the reaction on socials, seems quite many people like it. But Ferre seems to be cursed in this forum. If he plays rhumba he is monotonous, if he tries to diversify, he is slammed. Damned if he do, damned if he don't. Other artists(you know who and who I mean) release songs that are way more crap than this but guys wet themselves praising them so it's like expecting a Man U fan to admit Rashford was interfering with play

Hey buddy, yeah he actually sang in Magie he had three vocals, In the song Magie, Mansouri S, Sylvekou, and Meslian The first minute of this it has his vocals from Magie.
I always those parts were Wily Bula?. His 'Magie' voice was marvelous. He should have kept switching back to it in his later vocals

Maybe the fact that JB Mpiana did not release an album in such a long time has left some of us too hungry we will take anything he spews out as excellent. I have taken my time to listen to this album with such an open mind and so much hope but found nothing to praise in this album. The singing including JB himself who used to be such a beautiful singer is an insult to my ears. The sebenes and generiques are so lifeless with shouting rather than animation. Even Fusee who gets so much praise here got me pissed with the eeeh eeeeh eeeeh kinda screaming. The chorus is bearable but I think if I need good recent chorus, nothing beats the 'original' tchatcho chorus Koffi gave us recently in Legende. This is a personal opinion and to each his own. Those who find this album interesting must be such a lucky bunch with something to enjoy over Xmas.
Bro what happened? Lol I can't say anything about the Rhumbas but the Generique were on point especially Jump and BCBG En Avant and also the seben of Ainsi Dit L'Eternel by Fuse was a masterpiece
Bro, maybe the problem is me????I was so looking forward and expected something along the lines of Jeannette or grace toi a germain for the rhumbas or some fire sebene a la' excess d'amour or Tshico Londonien or Love Airline but what I got was so underwhelming. I guess my taste has become too choosy and I need to reconsider and lower down my expectations. I suspect I may be the problem because almost everyone else says it's super......
