So celezino, mamale, serge mabiala, somono etc were a part of viva la musical hmm they didn't seem like they fitted in

Than I advise you to listen to the Nkuzi-Lele album of Viva Tendance & Papa Wemba. They were supposed to replace the old Viva La Musica "Cour des Grands" (Djanana, Gloria Thukadio, Lidjo Kwempa, Fafa de Molokai, etc.), but Papa Wemba decided then abandon that project.

So what happened with them why did they leave? And why did wemba abandon that project?

The album flopped and Wemba was already 57 years old and started to focus more on his family-live instead of putting much energy in his three bands (Nouvelle Ecriture, Bana Malongi & Viva Tendance) and guess that the Europe-ban for Nouvelle Ecriture got him get tired. But he still performed with Viva Tendance in France for some concerts in 2010 and 2008.

Archos,Mvulusi what happened with Nouvelle Écriture after the release of Bazonkion EP in 2005. It seems like Papa Wemba didn't want to do a album with them anymore then Bendoson,Sampaio,Alpatchino,New Jack and co started to leave.

Was it because of The Bana Malongi ?

Bendoson was fired for doing an interview where he criticized Maisha Parc. Alpatchino, Sampaio and New Jack left Nouvelle Ecriture, because people judged them as unproductive, due to the flop of the Banzonkion EP with people seeing that as the really end of Papa Wemba. They were also tired with the way they were living in Nouvelle Ecriture since the Europe-ban. So Wemba's staff decided to form a new band "Bana Malongi" recruited by Senado, but hey failed to convince people with the Kaka Yo-album.
i am dying laughing at them using the instrumental for slim shady at the beginning. that caught me completely off guard.

he says   he is sad to be fired by ferre but he was not gone drunk and being noisy at 5 of the morning as said by ferre who he still will consider as a father  all he wanted was to meet ferre and talk to him about a couple of things he politely declines to dig much into, but saying that after russia tour and overall with his treatment when he abandoned his album to return he had some things to complain about to ferre and wants to do it in private like a son to his father  rather than rant on tv so its a bit sad that it was badly seen
he does not want to talk about ferre and  he is thankful and whatever next he does  he will show the real chikito he has become
Matebu gave you a good answer

With the status of an African legend he got nowadays he can easily convince the administration of Parc des Princes and Stade de France. I think that he could also easily fill both stadiums and do even better than Kassav in 2009 at Stade de France. If that happens he would be the untouchable n.1 legend of Africa and I don't see Werrason, JB following him there like Bercy, maybe Fally after 10 or 15 years. But he must first solve those 2 rape-affairs in France.

Congolese Music / About Wenge Ferre Gola
« Last post by JV on Today at 22:06 »
It seems to be a trend between the two group that when a musician(including Wenge FG reserves) quits, they tend to join Wenge Ferre Gola or Jet7. Looking at Jet7 musician who left...most got kicked out by Ferre himself, while Wenge FG people just get fed up of being wasted or not being rewarded for their hard work. What amazes me is how a musician can one day praise the hell out of his boss and then you see them join another group and completely bash the old boss and pretend like nothing ever happened...for example Chikito, who doesn't know how small he was when Ferre found him and took him to europe and changed his life but look now. The only musician of Jet7 who in recent year joined Wenge FG didn't diss Ferre and has benefited from his humbleness is Nicodem but the rest we all know how it turned up for them...but looking at the recent recruits from Jet7 by WFG, they seem to not have learned from the past and want to diss their old group to be accepted in Wenge FG..with that being said, how many of these musician do you lot think will actually succeed and stay longer than a year?

1. Djanny Atula: i find his voice annoying and looking at the recent La Zamba test, he tends to over do the lil crying style he loves and struggling to stay in tune...I think he will start off strong like Arnake did but disappear.

2. Mathy Degaule: Perfect replacement for Olivier and Mabiala and a damn good singer but his looks and lack of dance will be his downfall and will find himself in the same situation as he had in Jet7.

3. Rize ya Gola: Good singer but just like Degaule,  lack of dance will be his downfall.

4. Chikito: Talented, excellent singer and dancer and knows how to talk...seems a perfect musician for Wenge FG...of all the ex Jet7 musicians who have joined Wenge FG i see him being the most successful of them all.

On a different note...I'm surprised Tupac Orden de Nuance hasn't joined WFG or any group yet....Archos you have any news on him?

thats nice to see werra and jb together and naturally smiling at each other
