Congolese Music / Re: BELGIUM'S NATIONAL TEAM OT

When I was a kid you could only play for the team of your nationality so playing at home meant being of Congolese nationality which was pointless because our parents went thru everything imaginable so that their kids could have french nationality or whatever nationality. So thats why people of congo descent or born in the congo ended up playing for france and other countries where they lived or grew up, such as Makelele or the guys from his generation. They honestly didnt have much of a choice because choosing the homeland woulda meant jeapordizing your status, god forbid your career is over now you living like a ngulu in paris lol
Now they changed it you can pick and choose, but the thing is if why play for a team thats gonna struggle in the African Cup when you could have a forsure spot in a team thats gonna be in the World cup. Thats honestly what it comes down too. Doesnt help that most our homeland teams have poor management, I remember the RDC players almost going on strike because they werent gonna get paid. Other than making your parents proud, you dont really get a lot of benefits. You get more exposure being on the french or belgium squad, now u can go from maybe ligue 1 to la ligua thanks to your apperance. So theres a lot that comes into that decision but the younger generation is leaning more towards playing for the homeland these days. If our teams managements can hold it together for the next 5-10 years a lot of kids are gonna wanna play for the home country because at the end of the day we dont feel french belgium or swiss we know where we from. Coaches staff and higher ups just have to get it together thats all.

Yeah, same case for France's national team with the likes of Paul Pogba (Guinea), Djibril Sidibé (Mali), Blaise Matuidi (DRC), N'Golo Kanté (Mali), Ousmane Dembélé (Senegal), Presnel Kimpembe, the list goes on. Most of the squad is African now

The reason why they opt for European teams is because the fanbase is 10x bigger, facilities and coaching staff are much better, and they get huge endorsement deals in those countries. It's the hard reality, but aside from them being away from their true roots, it's more pragmatic for them to be on those EU rosters.

In order for those players to play for their motherland countries, their respective countries need to step it up when it comes to investing in great facilities and conching staff, also doing a proper job of recruiting. All those African players in EU national teams were recruited by scouts, so African teams need to hire good recruiters also to convince them to join.

Plus, those teams will almost always qualify for the World Cup, whereas some African teams can go decades without qualifying

Hey hey hey, Sir's easy easy, I am not saying Koffi is not  a great musician, I have always said it in every post that everything he drops is unique I mean, Loi was everywhere when I was little and until my 15 years that song was everywhere, EVERYONE, literally EVERYONE knows that song, not only Congolese or Angolan, Beninois, Ivoirien, Nigerian, South Africans, Malians, Central Africans EVERYBODY, know what Loi is, my point is that Koffi is legendary as a musician but as a human being hmmm not so much, and guys please let's stop saying that we bash only Koffi, I don't know how.many times JB's name got insulted in 2017 and I don't know how much criticism Werra, Ferre have gotten especially Ferre for that Davina's affair and Werra for that son he had with a dancer, and Fally everybody on the forum except someone said Tokos was a shitty album, but you only pay attention when we speak about Koffi's behaviour come on

It is not regarding music, but why our players (Congolese & Angolans) doesn't have any pride at all? If you check all the generation of the national team of Belgium and France especially there a lot of players of Congolese origin's or Angolan mainly Congolese (because Angolan people are more good at basket then that they are at soccer) and the shcokimg fact is that sometimes those Congolese players aren't even born in Belgium in France or Portugal but in Congo or Angola.
Listen the players who would have played for Congo. Mandanda, Denayer, Kompany, Lukaku Jordan and Romelu, Benteke, Makelele, and those who would have played for Angola Cavanda, Matuidi, William Carvalho, Vidigal, João Mario,

The sad fact is that one of the Belgian/Congolese players Batshuayi said that he is not Congolese at all, for nothing at all, and he is black only because of his parents and he is totally Belgian.
Those words really shocked me I mean why our people doesn't respect our own roots? I mean it is OK to play for Belgium but saying that you are black only because of your parents means that you have some sort of hate for your country.

In the meantime both Lukaku became superstars Kompany was regarded as one of the best of the European defenders ever, William Carvalho and João Mario won the European Cup, and Matuidi won a lot of titles with PSG and now play for the first club in Italy the Juventus.
Do you imagine if all those players choosed wisely?

Please people of God anyone with this album share with...I really love the little man.

This little man is the one that made Koffi so jealous. Koffi is reported to have torn Suzuki's Passport to stop him from travelling with QL on tour.

I remember around the 1996/97 era Koffi came to Perform in Nairobi, the Fans demanded to hear Suzuki and kept chanting his name.
Koffi tried to explain that Suzuki could not come this trip and promised to bring him the next trip, the fans then told him they would attend his show the next trip. Tough times for Koffi.

Stilla is my favourite Suzuki song from the QL album Faux de Faux Pas....

@Matebu

All those years of loud animations will take a toll on your voice, even if it was more melodic compared to shouting atalakus.

I like the medley style. He just needs a generique to go with it now...

lol, you “Koffi-phobes” are something else. The guy has more gold records than just about any African artist ever, so his accomplishments speak for themselves; love him or hate him.

I know right on this forum it's okay for people to bash koffi endlesssly but when it comes to ferre, werra and co getting the same treatment it becomes world war 3 smh

What about Djouna Mumbafu, he had a father son relationship with Pepe Kalle (1987-2000; when Empire started to fall apart)
