It's a shame that this disbanded in 1995 it was a mixture of Aurlus Mabele and Pepe Kalle with Djouna Mumbafu.

They should've just named the song Sadam Hussein

Knogulu liked the mystery behind his persona so he wanted the song title specifcally. He also had a strict policy that songs in his name had to have the most powerful sebene and artist had to put a strong effort, or else. Weird guy... nobody shed a tear when he died

Damn. Imagine trying to please someone like him with a sebene-oriented song. What was the threat if they fell short of his impossible standards? Prison? An instant flop?

hahaha don't you heard that story what Saddam did to them when they refused to give Manda Chante's passeport back ? Or the way he forced Koffi to reconcile with Nyoka Longo lol. I'm sure that Wenge 4x4 wouldn't split if Mobutu was still on power. Kongolo Mobutu would force them to stay together and give sanctions. There was a moment that they couldn't perform anymore in Kinshasa back in 1995 just because a girl. The blocked the release of their album Pleins Feux. He used Wenge EL Paris as his puppets to make Wenge 4x4 difficult and he killed the same Wenge EL Paris by blocking them 4 years long in Kinshasa (they hadn't European papers so they couldn't return. He same Kongolo used to facilitate their return to Europe in past) and forbad them to release albums.
The guy ran terror. Lol... Tutu Calugi also reviewed that it was the intervention of Kongolu Mobutu who threatened to take the leaders of Wenge Musica to the palace that made the Wenge 4*4 leaders to lift his suspension after Wasenga Kimpuni snitched on him to Werrason that he insulted Silvie Mampata. Since that Ya Noel was like the Minister of Interior of the group Wenge Musica 4*4.

I still get mad when I see these clips some left way too soon after the zenith 2007 tour l( I hope one day that gets uplooaded) but at the same time something was missing in them in terms of charisma and so on compared to the fally generation and the sam generation

I think that that was also one if the reason which demotivated him to promote them. They missed something. With Koffi trying to lure  important musicians of Maison Mere & Wazekwa. But he couldn’t find a Fally in them. Back in 1999, Koffi was by Sam & Bouro’s departure, but Fally made him forget both guys quickly. Because of his work-ethic (which Sam had)and dancing skills (which made Koffi forget Bouro). Then in 2006 and 2007 he hoped to find someone like him, but it didn’t happen.

Wasn’t it that festival of Congo Brazzaville’s 42th independence party at Stade Charlety where they also invited King Kester Emeneya ? I remember that there used to be a little festival in 2000 with Papa Wemba & Nouvelle Ecriture, King Kester Emeneya, Bozi Boziana, Gina Efonge, Général Defao & Depitsho with JF Ifonge there performing on the same stage. Martin Sinnock made an article about that concert on his website. I never saw the videotape of that concert, only an extrat on Wemba sur la route de Bercy.

I’ve never been at Stade de Charletty. But did they really perform in that stadium. Or did they perform in a complex inside the stadium ? Because don’t remember Werrason hyping about performing there. I remember only him annoucing a concert in that stadium for the summer if 2004 just before they to UK with his staff already making people ready and concert promoter inviting Youssou N’dour, Brenda Fassie, Jacob Desvarieux, Meiway and Mory Kante. But visa problems made them cancel that event. If they really performed inside the stadium was the stadium then soldout like Ségolène Royal meeting there in 2007 ?

Les Anges Adorables Vol 2?

I’m sounding like a broken record; that album is on all the streaming platforms. One copyright complaint and this forum can disappear like Vibes D’afrique

We gotta be careful and stick to the albums that are not readily available and copyrighted by production companies
IT'S NOT ON THE PLATFORMS I JUST LOOKED IT GOT DELETED OF EVERYTHING
