Between Koffi  werra an Jb
Who do you think could have made it as an atalaku.
They all have at some points animated in their past albums and concerts and they all have in my opinion done a great job.
Werrason  in mulolo and kine bouger

Koffi in wake up and V12

Jb in some concerts

I think Werrason would have been the superior atalaku. Koffi did do good animations in WakeUp but he did it since they could not get Tutu Caludgi to do the animations (apparently Caludji was supposed to do the animations but it did not work out) and I don't think Koffi seems to be the type into animations as a regular thing. JB loves singing and attention.

However since Werrason does not have a great voice, animations would fit because Werrason did inspire Bill Clinton, Tutu Caludji, Celeo Scram, Lobeso, Jamaique and Roi David of how to animate. Werrason does care about animations so he would have lasted long as atalaku. Case in point Bill Clinton did one animation on PDG Makambo that Werrason did long time.

It is Werrason. He had great creativity with animations than JB and Koffi.

werra is naturally more of an atalaku but koffi and jb are more of "when in the mood guys",they are better when jumping by surprise into animation as for werra he was already doing animation almost 35 40 Years ago in his various experiences outside wenge

JB is not really creative lyrical wise he could have made it but it surely would use guys to write him cries, Koffi's style of Atalaku is not fit for Congolese society, because it is really laidback and slow that's why he have a massive fan base in other African countries to me the guy who had the most chances to made it as an Atalaku was Werra, first he is really into the traditional side and this really makes your job easier as an Atalaku and make your creativity flow because if you are like Bill who was pretty close to traditional chief you could just narrate the story of your village in your native non Lingala tongue and people would go crazy over it, plus Werra knows how to animate, Zenga Luketo is an example like Block Cadenas is, if you take the part where he sings (never understood why) in 1er voix and just focus on his animation skills that guy is a pro

Koffi's style would have made him like Ferré I guess a guy who is known for his Rhumbas but unlike Ferré he would have a little bit more success in slow and traditional générique, Bilan for example is a song that could be animated well but Koffi decided to sing on it doing something different so maybe he would.have not be like Bill as an Atalaku but probably become like Lobeso a guy who is innovative because he united Mongo and slow animation into the mix but also a guy who have a lot of haters from Fast Pace Tempo fans

About JB I am not making it as a joke but I really liked his animation about the guy on the street going crazy on his wife spending all of his money

Most of WMM generics during the old good days were credited to Werra, intervention Rapide, Solola Bien etc, that shows that he is good at creating cries

That doesn’t really mean anything, Generiques are always credited to band leaders even if they didn’t create anything, it’s something a lot of atalakus especially guys like CNN and Celeo complain about. Bill was credited for Intervention Rapide btw.

Ture but beside the taking crie of others that leader usually do, Werra out of JB and Koffi is the one with the best Atalaku skills  JB Mpiana is good but I don't see him making a complete song by himself as an Atalaku, his voice is too soft, he is a great dancer but I really struggle to see him as an Atalaku, Werra instead in Ingeta had animated better then Bercy especially in the Lalaka Boye Générique

Maaan Diego such a waste of talent

From 00:30 you can hear Werra animating and things like Kamata and some ad libs that Atalakus make in between cries is not something that you can't really teach

Here Koffi animates the first part of the song and you can hear that he doesn't really animate but just talk and then sing

And beside that Kuluna crie is really hard to find JB Animating song post Wenge 4 X 4
