Congolese Music / Re: 1H30 0F MUSIC WITH BLAISE BULA
« on: February 06, 2014, 17:46 »
Listening to the whole vid, I will probably change my profile picture to blaise bula. Shit, this guy should not have gone abroad after ponderation 8. This is a must have DVD. Listen to Masampu and tell me if the studio version on cd is different from this. Blaise bula would be a darling for wenge musica followers like me. The guy on drums must be the son to titina. Wow, wow. If werrason and JB are watching this, shame on them especially jb.

Fresh blood is needed in a band really. This dark rapper, blaise pay him he is going to go. Werra please don't. but jb you can buy the drummer lol.

Congolese Music / Re: SPECIFICALLY FOR EMOBCBG
« on: February 04, 2014, 14:33 »
The kind of music I like, in summary is:

1. Coordinated group singing. Not one artist singing a 10 minute song alone. That can apply in rap and rnb:

2. The use of drum, solo, mi-solo, bass and rythm effectively in a song. Not just an acoustic guitar with one other instrument:

3. In live performances, the artists should not only be melodic, but energetic and flexible to cheer todays fans:

4. Any cd produced by a group should have a balanced sebene vs ballad ratio.

EMO the good thing with Bula to me is that he is not a man in a hurry thats why he sticks to what he knows best.

I hear you but my point is the artists backing bula like the guy on drums, are no liability like seguin and rio for example.

The extra lot that is not in the A and B teams of these bands just benefit on getting tshirts during concerts, and are given something to feed on.but not salary.

Eng. blaise Bula, this guy plays music, the music I like listening to. He needs to get a promoter and release an album soon. Its long overdue. Now kenyakone, archos, sly, can you hear how that guy is hitting the drums? That is the style that titina plays......energetic and nice pace with the atalaku and soloist. Take him to bcbg, and you see what happens. The atalakus are also melodic and all in all, the music is listenable.

By the way, you do not see a liability in there. Given funds, blaise can be a competitor to jb n werra

Congolese Music / Re: Ferre filming a clip

Jdog, even guitarists in Congo admit that ferre is not playing what they expected.
Now I get what you're saying about sebene.....In Sens Interdit he did  a rhumba that turned into sebene and the same with Joao Ndombele in Qui Est Derriere Toi.....and I agree with Ferre could of added some sebene at the end of some songs in Boite Noire and the same goes for Fally with Kosa Leka.

Fally has tried from droit chemin, arsenal de beles, and the last one, to respect sebene. Ferre gola, actually should be the best between the two since he has a better background when it comes to sebene and solo guitar sound but he has totally ignored. He has ignored Franco, makaba, roga roga, madoka, flam kapaya, ficare muamba, name them. That voice of ferre with proper music/ sound engineers, can be a volcano of cool sweet music. Thats why I am annoyed with him. Even Oliver shimanga WA shimanga who played on droit chemin is upset with him. Am I wrong?

Kenyakone, I tell your friends like archos about liabilities in bcbg. Thanks you support me. Genta is one liability. If he was with werra, he would be history.

Mwana Nsalu you must happy because Deplick will have six vocals and a song.

yes very happy :D
it is he, fabregas and cafe rhoum entering maison mere that caught my attention to werrason. i am late to congolese music. i grew up hearing it but it wasn't until 6 or 7 years ago that i started listening to and exploring it on my own. i stumbled upon a youtube clip of the 3 of them singing and i have been in love (figuratively as these guys a way younger than me lol) ever since!
I guess you would definitely love nono Fuji of jb. That guy has something in his voice that women may like.
i am always happy to hear a song with any of them singing solo or together.

Ferre has killed Congolese music. He was from the university of wenge musica and its institute, wenge maison mere. These institutions taught him that music should be sung with friends and not alone. Secondly, whether its a balad or fast generic, they played the sebene. Ferre has killed all this. So those that support him are murdering music.

He needs to come yes. Too much joking in today's Congolese music. This guy can make music I love.
