Nice stuff, but a lot of intevertions, has grown up? He looks so shy on LOKETO side ? If not correct am told he is a CHARTERED ACCOUNTANT NOWDAYS is it? And he married the only woman dancer in the former Wenge group?

Can you post the whole stuff without those promo stuffs. He is only himself to blame for staying too long with JB Mpiana otherwise should have been the King of Rhumba before Ferre Gola.

Yes he is the MUSICIAN he is earning from music works and unfortunately enough the COMBATTANTS have closed their MAINSTREAM  EARNINGS from EUROPE , worse enough the AFRICAN MUSIC LANDSCAPE has changed a lot, the era whereas CONGOLESE MUSICIANS were provided PRESIDENTIAL ENTOURAGES in African countries has changed, most of African countries have produced YOUNGSTERS who succumbed to WEST POPS AND THE LIKES and worse enough they heavily depend on technology to make high quality music but with a  few or no at all CRAFT WORKS, COMBINED WITH  CHEAP CENTS TO PRODUCE THE SAME, and making a lot money through MOBILE COMPANIES subscriptions etc.

Time, and space have changed they need to make money and not making music works to prove they are the best in the game, after all with several golden awards does he needs to prove anything? Let the young Congolese musicians do the same.

As they are fading in premier league of Congolese music market I think it is better for old guns who are no longer rivals to collaborate and produce some stuffs.

It is about money making in the old age. Just imagine how people may react when KOFFI OLOMIDE, JB MPIANA and WERRASON produce together sort of music? And they tour the whole of Africa together?!

So sad Koffi Olomide has not produced a collabo with Mbilia Bel?

DRC musicians need a new spring board to attract Africa attention cause the one from Europe is no longer ACTIVE due to political matters.

They need to collaborate among themselves, they need to collaborate with neighbours countries musicians (new generation), they need to collaborate with best perfomers in Africa first.

They should not think of big artistes from USA they will not go anywhere, charity should begins at home. Som times it is hard to accept it is bitter pills to swallow but their pride has been hugely damaged in the continent.

IT IS TIME FOR REFORMS NOW!

He is truly African son stood with African music roots. You always know what to expect and how things will evolve. He has created his brand of music which is somehow twisted given prevailing situation but the roots are there it is not the question of modified what or what it is the continution of music from where you left. You are holding your old fans base and attracting new ones. The same like Mopao whatsoever blend he will bring but Tchacho is at background he has never changed the complete scenario in his music. This is the way to stay in competitive music market, let the new comers come but stay you you are with twisting blends. Dont change your complete face cause of Ferre Gola singing frenzy or Fally Ipupalization , just adopt a part of it and blend with your music style.

Congolese Music / Re: UNDERRATED SEBENE'S BIG STARS

By which standards can you say it was underrated ? General Defao was let down by his life style and lack of marketing creativity, otherwise he was a complete package he could sing so nicely, he was the best dancer, he produced exciting sebene which are still bamboozling.

Still searching.......

Congolese Music / Re: CAPUCCINO LBG NEW GENERIQUE KINDOKI

It  is good within Kin. But they need to be more creative, come with something new, to bamboozle not only their local fans  base but also  external markets, in that way they will  survive the storms and tides of regional and continental music.

No one want the replica of Alerte generale, Igwe had already done his job, why can not they move further forwards?

The first experience speaks volume, see Ferre left WMMM and they created Less Marquee which in their first year of operations they won Kora Award!, they  came up with nice stuffs like  Kilo 100 most of guys they don't believe this hit was released a couple of years ago !

See Fally Ipupa when he left Koffi Olomide he imprinted his trade mark with nice stuffs from Fimbo ya Bakanja, and own way of dancing!

See now the Quadra Kora man is always elusive coming with new stuffs such as Selfie which not only pleased his loyal fans base but also managed to obtain huge chunks of market from the youngsters - international wise , it is completely new innovation with blends of tchacho as usual!

These new fellas  need to be calm, innovative and define their trademark, they don't need to rush, otherwise they will end up being journey men in their music career.

Yes, one may have talent, very good singer, dancing beautifully , but generating your own empire and earn recognition is not a joke!, it is serious business beyond the art of singing and dancing on the stage. You need to do SWOT analysis like any other business man and have entrepreneurship skills and seize the right moment!

Only musicians with entrepreneurship minds or who will employ the ones with the same  will be successful in music industry, otherwise, always it is going to be blame shifts and other underground "traditional things".

Congolese Music / Re: BEST SHOW INTRODUCTION EVER

I second it.

71
So much talent in singing department but not every one can command and steer the ship towards the storm waters. Many have tried but have ended up pauper, begging  with seriously embarrassment in their life.

72
Tanzania music fans had the chance to dance the new hit of Mopao Monkozi Papa Sarkozy Mourhino, Ekoti te to commemorate the 16 years of  local fire brand Radio and TV Station known as Clouds TV as well as independence day of Tanzania. As usual Bouro Mpela reminisced and entertained the audience with famous past hits of Papa Fololo.

73
Wata & Fally collabo cant wait to see.

74
They melded so well indeed.
Montana Kamenga Sommet De Sommet ruined his career by joining Koffi Olomide so did Kabose by joining WMMM.

Montana may have earned enough moneys with Koffi Olomide, he was not given much space compared with Fally Ipupa.

Kabose was completely incompatible with WMMM of Ngiama Makanda.
