Jules Kibens has always been dressing like that and so has the other BCBG composer Boguys Bompema, the two wear classic stuff than JB who wears kassamoto and Massatomo and those Japanese designer stuff he and Koffi like.

He has been the pillar just as Dj sly put it, personally I don't care having him there for long time.

What is the definition of pillar?
In this context, he's been a pillar of strength for JB Mpiana and Wenge BCBG.
We've told you time and again that Jules Kibens and Bogus Bompema have been the long serving composers for JB Mpiana even prior to them starting to sing as part of JB Mpiana's musicians. The two gentlemen are massively talented and most of these songs you see credited to JB Mpiana and others in the band are actually written by mainly Boguys or Kibens.
Yes, Kibens's singing just like JB's singing has gone down a bit but he still remains a great asset for JB Mpiana who in himself(JB) has no composition capabilities, JB Mpiana like Papa Wemba is purely a singer and depends on others to write and direct the music so that is the definition of pillar in reference to Kibens bwana.

you seem to like young guys of bcbg and hating Kibens but what you are forgetting is that its the same man Kibens who nature and direct them. It is also known that Kibens can turn an average singer to an excellent one, something that JB may not have time to do.

I want young ones because they need to take over and remove the "disease" that has slowed down jb's progress over the years. I have always indicated that jb's superiority, crushed the day titina, afande, caludji and mboka lots left. That lot had the energy in bcbg. The ppu that left jb after the Europe tour should have kept jb floating but unfortunately they left, thanks didi kalombo is back. So in a nutshell, segiun mignon, jules kibense, jdl and Rio and that chai ngenge that left, only kept jb dangling on a loose thread. Take out that lot, leave younger guys to do the thing and elevate bebeto to take over segiun, jb will be different.

These musicians you've mentioned never left at the same time, I believe Titina left around 2003, Afande left in 2004, Mboka Liya left in 2006 and Tutu kaludji left in 2007 but Wenge BCBG hasn't been derailed, still going strong and the music still superior compared to other bands. Yes, you can say recent generiques from BCBG have been weak but whose generiques have been powerful amongst BCBG's rivals?

It is a fact that we all would like to see older musicians move on so that only young ones surround JB Mpiana but the question we must remember is that are the young ones capable of being loyal to JB,wouldn't they be waiting for opportunities to tour abroad then abandon JB Mpiana, are they capable of composing and directing their own songs like the older musicians and would they be as disciplined as the older musicians and defend BCBG well? We saw what happened with Djino who was reported to have smoked weed in a restaurant owned by one of JB's sponsors and when confronted by an older musician, he snapped and that was how he left BCBG,that same Djino is the same one insulting JB Mpiana today saying JB also smokes weed. The older musician who differed with Djino also left BCBG but he hasn't said anything bad about JB infact he continues to praise JB, that is the sort of discipline we want from BCBG ambassadors so JB is doing well to make young musicians work with older ones instead simply firing older musicians for no apparent reason.
