I'm still in shock. Combining the old forums, I've known Ms. Bazu for more than 10 years. Indeed @archos, it's like loosing a family member.

@Tata Nkiadi; not sure if this if this is the right time to ask, but do you know the status of Papa PC? He was that crazy uncle that everyone loved anyways. Also, Haha Le Prof. "le grand Koffiphile". Their online presences are dearly missed.

Certainly very devastating news! So sad, one of the most passionate and honest rhumba fan I ever met online. Reminds me of the days of Yvonne, Ms T, Heri, PC Mpondolo, Ronald, Frank, Haha le Prof, Tamando, Gege et all. Fare thee well Ipupainess, the choir in heaven is getting bigger Mpongo Love, Abeti, Makeba....

Losing a member is a hard pill to swallow, especially those who've made great contributions to help advance the awareness of this beautiful genre that we love.  Yeah we don't agree with most things, but it's those passionate discussions that help keep these forums going.  Ms. Bazu will be sorely missed.

@Tata Nkiadi; not sure if this if this is the right time to ask, but do you know the status of Papa PC? He was that crazy uncle that everyone loved anyways. Also, Haha Le Prof. "le grand Koffiphile". Their online presences are dearly missed.

Unfortunately, I have lost contact with a lot of the old members. Aside from a few, many of them have changed their email addresses over the years.  At some point today I will attempt to contact guys like Haha, PC Mpondolo, Adoyo. Nyatipro, Omosh, David Noyes and Martin Sinnock are on FB and I catch up with them from time to time.  I wish I still had contact information for Ronald Zee and Yvonne, although it seems they've retreated from forum life in recent years and don't want to be bothered and I honestly don't blame them.

Ms. T and I are still good friends to this day, however she too is battling from Breast Cancer and has been in and out of the hospital over the years.  Keep her in your prayers.
