Oh boy. JB was the first to say that Koffi does not have Congolese roots that you hear now. I know that Koffi Olomide was born in Kisangani because he lived in a house where my great aunt had owned. I heard that his dad is Togolese and his mom is half tetela. He did a song for the son of Gnassingbe Eyadema called Boucle.
