It sounds like one.

Ah Mère Élizabeth...

Some may say it's for MJ30 or just an imaginary person. However, the lyrics and the timing match too perfectly.

Funny how she didn’t dare to even think such thing when Kabila was the official president but they all feel free to diss the current president on paper. This is how dictatorship starts, to get people like this to fall in line.

There is just too much intolerence in Congo just like our case in Zambia, a performing artiste just can't do their work without being accused of ''insulting'' those ruling. It was probably an innocent song just like Karmapa did his Monsieur le député,am sure some depute's were offended. We must let artistes be artistes, only when they name individuals should we have problems.

I know bro. lol, it's the same in Zambia, people take things too personal,my own young brother is a depute in Zambia and because he talks a lot of sense works hard and from the opposition he's hated by the useless ruling party depute's. ;D

The extract is about someone that Tshala considered to have brought up but has now turned out to be an ingrate out to insult and gossip about her.

How this relates to a sitting President (from an ordinary performing artiste's perspective) is beyond my understanding.

nyumu thats DRC for you, people overinterpret everything and thats one of the many things influenced from music in congolese community its indeed against MJ30
i  made my enquiry to my kin guys and they were laughing that people took it  like that she still holds strong grudge against her
on spiritual level at some point having a second star which is in partnership with you allows to keep things "alive" longer and meje leaving like that broke it and left tshala muana with no hit since she left until today, the guys said it was a diss song against MJ30 which was done years ago but mamu tshala was not happy with the quality of final product so she postponed it for one or two albums and reworked it then it got leaked while not fully mixed as announcement of her new album
innoss b even made fun of that habit of interpreting everything by posting a sheep he'll include in his next clip, knowing that the day clip is out people will say the sheep represent this or that person

She was interviewed after she was releases. She said she wrote the song in 2013. Maybe they had beef. Idk

Tshala Muana's interview After she was released

https://soundcloud.com/actualitecd/tshala

In this recorded audio, she goes on to state as follows:

That she recorded an album and in it was a song dedicated to God for having saved her from a disease she was ailing from. Thereafter, she released the gospel song together with other songs gradually.

However, for this song Ingratitude, it awaits mixing. It is not addressed to anyone in particular especially the President of the Country. The song is actually about treachery (treason) in everyday life; people who had forsaken her, friends who abandoned her, workmates and everyone else can associate themselves with that.

Since the discovery of internet especially social media, people nowadays rarely interrogate the message in a song and in this case rushed to predict that the song was addressed to the President who despite the fact is not her friend she cannot joke about.

It is unfortunate that the Commission on Censorship has censured the song before it is even finished in order to have a clear view on what it is about.

guess who went solo in 2013 when the song was done? marie josee njiba aka MJ30
says it all,for those who ask themselves what happened, there were rumours that either she slept with tshala's husband( who by the way does not have mere tshala as his first wife ) or that she slept with an influent politician who was maman tshala's sidekick
so MJ got brutally fired

Thank you Masta for the clarification. Duly noted.
