I remember Koffi had a lot of beard back in Noblesse Oblige era.

QL Singer: This one is quite hard. For me, Willy Bula, Modogo Abarambwa, Sam Tshintu, oohh its hard
I liked that Willy Bula could also be an animator and sing as well. Modogo for the deep voice. Sam Tshintu for singing, and dancing too.
QL Dancer: Suzuki, Bouro, Fally (I admit, when it came to the solo parts, these were some people I looked forward to)
QL Female Dancer (my favourite section because I am female haha): Zina Bilaho. For me, she was the best dancer QL ever had, consistent, effortless, and she was a Cheftaine for some time?
Other female dancers that I take note of (old): Rosette Kamono (the 1st ever female dancer for QL?) Mireille Konde, Rita Dembo. I think Fifi as well, but back in the day (pre-1995) , Claudine AC Milan, Sandralina,
Latest/current dancers: I liked Patricia Apataki, but she just disappeared of late. Mami Itanzoma. some QL dancers where recruited based on looks, but where not as charismatic as the dancers back in the day. Some I just do not know their names.
QL Drummer: Look, Champion only because it was during the "Sebene" era. Otherwise, Kaps Kapangala
QL Guitarist/Bassist: Do Akongo, Beniko Popolipo, Felly Tyson for the solo/mi solo
                              Clovis Silawuka, Pathy Bass for the Bassists. Binda Bass is too over-rated I feel
QL Animators: The combination of Mboshi Lipasa/Somono Dolce Parabolique, such memories! CNN also held his own pretty well. Kerozene/Brigade for awhile, but my top are Mbosho, Somono, CNN

I think I need to update my current QL people database hahahaha.

@SoukousFan

Dope choice my brotha.

I need to update mine. It keeps changing. Modogo’s voice will always be the smooth one. Kaps de Kaps (Drummer) also does Mukuta Munene dance. He does it way better than QL members. Kero and Brigade were another great duo ????????

 Sanction was a great album for QLA! I always play Sort and 100 Ans!

@Matebu

There needs to be a Wenge Musica movie or documentary!

Have you guys ever thought about making a Youtube channel where you discuss the history behind the classic albums and artist we love so much?

@Wenge1995

I totally agree with you my brother . They need to make it one day. I wish, it sucks I don't have congolese friends around me who are into classic albums from back in the days

My favorite singer of QL is Bouro Mpela; he's a skilled dancer (sorry Eric Tutsi & Babia Ndonga) , had great songs credited to him (including Da Silva from QL Academia's sanction) and was sorely missed on albums he didn't participate in (Attentat & Monde Arabe).

My favorite instrumentalist from QL is the drummer Champion Djikapela; powerful snare rolls with beautiful high hats thrown in to spice up the sebene...Papy Kakol should take notes lol

As for animators...Mboshi and Dolce! Those guys gave us those memorable cries for Ultimatum, Loi, and Sanction!

@Wenge1995 Great choice!

My favorite QL singer is either Willy, Modogo, Bouro or Sam. I don't have 1 at the moment.

Favorite dancer of all time: Bouro and Depitcho

Favorite female dancer: Zina Bilaho because she's so fine  :-* :-*

Favorite drummer: Esthetique of course! Best drummer of all time

Favorite Guitarist/Bassist: Lebou Kabuya because his distortion was fire back then! Rocky Blanchand because his bass was much better than Binda Bass my opinion

Favorite animators: That's hard. I gotta put Mboshi and Somono 1st. CNN was good as well.

WHO'S YOUR FAVORITE QUARTIER LATIN MEMBER and WHY?? (It could be a singer, animator, guitarist/bassist, drummer or dancer)

Current or all time?
If current its a tie between Mayase and Lindalala
If all time its again a tie between Babia and Eric Tutsi

My reason for both is the uniqueness of their voices. I am a sucker for those melancholic sounding voices

Yes of all time. They always have their unique voices. I used to get confused their voices between Babia and Eric lol

The name of the club is 5e aveune Tshala Muana filmed her clips back in 1993.

@DrumStar98 Wow, Is the building still there to this day??

Eric Tutsi breaks his silence on his story in Quartier Latin

WHO'S YOUR FAVORITE QUARTIER LATIN MEMBER of ALL TIME and WHY?? (It could be a singer, animator, guitarist/bassist, drummer or dancer)

My favourite Quartier Latin album. That album was a massive success everywhere. For me Koffi & Quartier Latin relly step their game up with Magie (with electrical guitar, Beevans animation it was a good decision to let him animate alone Mazungidi would not in the sebenes of Magie).                       It's crazy that Koffi didn't let Sam have a vocal in that album while he let him put his song "Shambouyi".
What was your reaction the first time you guys heard that album ?
Did the videos filmed in nightclubs were in France or in USA ?

@masatomo It was filmed in France. I think the name of the bar they filmed in France is L'Alize club or something like that If I'm wrong.
