Wasn't Beniko still a member of QL? Wouldn't he have gotten in trouble for participating in Zaiko, considering the beef between the leaders of different groups?

Popolipo left Quartier Latin in 1997 to join Zaïko Langa Langa after a conflict. But the next year he decided to rejoin Quartier Latin after that Koffi contacted him, when he noticed that he wasn’t up anymore in concerts of Zaïko

If Beniko never recorded that solo album, would he have gone with the group to Bercy? Or was Koffi planning to push out Do Akongo and Beniko anyways?
