How he’s still drumming fast and powerfully like this at his age doesn’t make sense. Making full use of the drum set unlike some as they age

I believe it was the great Ray Lema since she was backed by Les Ya Toupas on the album, which he was the pianist for

indeed solid album, damien aziwa could have pulled a decent group career aswell,he had soleil arca diniero titi firenze late celullaire deba oneil and some others but he was not as determined as jolino for example to record several times with the guys

He also had Ngounda Son who later went on to do well in Victoria. Lots of talent, but managing and funding a band is not easy

JF would lie in our faces and say it wasn’t him ;D

« Le drummer sans alcool Rolly Diesel » (1:24-).

He previously dragged Doudou Copa for his drinking habits. The founders of Extra despite this set aside their differences with him and reunite at funerals

Damien Aziwa has some decent albums. I listened to his other albums, but not this one.. it might’ve just gotten to streaming platforms. Nice album, good sound, and you can tell Titina did his strict tuning on the drums - very tight in the manner he does best.

JB gave an unusual amount of space to BCBG members to participate as session musicians for other artists. Phillpe Guez, Nyboma, Guy Nsangue, and Ballou Canta also participated.

Maybe it’s just me, but I love stumbling upon albums from the peak era that I haven’t heard before. Everyone was on their A game back then.

Terrible - he’s doing this to get followers fast since people like us have been looking for these clips for years. This is probably his parents collection.

Sam wanting to be emperor so bad killed the potential of both QL Academia and his Akademia

My man has gotten every allegation possible throughout his career. I believe this is the second song this year that this was alleged

lol nah, I might be able to do a better effort than this as someone who doesn’t sing at all. I appreciate the effort and courage though

this is why i stay way from buying newer cds alot of em dont even have a shout out section like old cds i understand cds aint selling like they used to but cmon if u gon have one with your name on it atleast put some passion to it like artist did back in the day

Guys like Franco and Koffi actually used to dedicate a lot of time during the album development process in personally conceptualizing the gimmick and album artwork and have a consistent artistic direction from the previews, songs, album art, and the clips. V12 is probably the best example of that - everything had a uniform vibe to it.

All of that is a lost art now, so no effort at all is put into it.

Agree - the shout-out section was cool to read and see some of the names that played some part in the album being made. Some unexpectedly

I just got my copy in the mail. This is the worst CD packet I’ve seen… I’m not sure if Fally himself was involved here. Just a bunch of pictures, no text/context, and very hard to read the text.

I bought the album for nostalgia purposes since i still have PTSD of not buying rare albums I used to see sitting cheap in record shops, before digital media took them all out of business. I expected something much better than this.

Apparently he composed, sung, and played all instruments on the 4 albums because there are no credits at all for anyone in F’Victeam, studio personnel, and sessions artists. I dont even know what studio it was recorded in (Grand Armée probably).

We are hearing royalty complaints from the ex-members of QL, WMM, etc, but at least those guys got some credits for their participation. In the future, ex F’Victeam members will have some pain as they don’t have any credits to fight a case in the first place.

At this point Koffi doesn’t strike me as a person who will go on retirement and disappear from public life. He will get bored of not having attention quickly. 13eme Apotre was supposed to be his last album… how did that turn out.

I can’t find the post anymore. But according the post it’s a retirement tour. Lol, nobody will return

lol, they all got baby mommas at this point to plant their seeds na poto

Weren’t we just talking about him beating his wife to a pulp a few weeks ago? Maman na ngai everyone has short memories in this genre. I get it’s 30 years, but some things are just inexcusable and meed some accountability.
