I will translate on memory
most of the interview is based on him showing the greatness of papa lutumba and he also said he is really happy for koffi that he is able now to go back to europe and explained that people misunderstand him, they tend to think he is a guy who hates people because of his rants but he is the type of people who cant hide feelings and live with somebody being hypocritical to him so he'll say what he thinks but never keep resentment in his heart as soon as he feels he said what he thought enough its time to move on,like he did with his colleagues of maison mere who he is now partying with again every week after months of clashes
he says for him one of things which made papa lutumba so special apart from his magic guitar skills and his wisdom, was the spirit he brought to ok jazz and congolese music in general
in fact for example, for the good of  the group if some singers were shining in rival groups or in solo career,he'd advise franco to invite him on their albums or they'd go to participate in their albums, for the sake of unity but also so that both parts' success benefits each other
and went further saying that simaro as chef d orchestre was able to form a second ok jazz in kinshasa while franco was in europe with the traditional ok jazz and recorded with them and it gave stiff competition to traditional ok jazz,so much that franco decided to re record some of the songs simaro did in kinshasa, and he says such things are impossible today whoever starts it is certain to be axed by the leader while in the past it was seen as normal
so papa lutumba showed then how open minded he was and his philosophy inspired papa wemba who let several of his artists record solo albums with artists of their choice
and him and franco wanted ok jazz to be full of high profile talents, first for the good of the group against rivals, second in order to make each of them talent realise if they are a bit of divas at times there are plenty of guys who can come in with better contribution
and another thing which he believes is impossible in today's mentality is how franco and tabuley took their cars to go to ntesa dalienst house to recruit him and ntesa prefered to join ok jazz because his cousin kiesse diambu who is a bit of a similar voice was with tabuley already and says imagine today jb and werra personally go towards a guy in his area to recruit him,he'll be a star even before touching the mic in their groups
he says in today's music all what's missing is "pressing the call button", for example fally and ferre have each other phone number and deep inside them they might have some songs where they think it would be great if the other's voice comes into that song but something stop them to press the call button while for him its a mistake and he says imagine the impact it would make to see fally and ferre appear on tv together to promote a song they recorded but its hard to see it happen because they are surrounded with people who will do everything to make them change their mind, they'll tell them, you'll give him power if you sing with him or the other will say he made you a star and things like that and its sad that we are letting our music die due to such narrow-minded philosophy
previous generations of congolese music were so strong because of that difference of philosophy, although there were conflicts they knew how to unite for the sake of art
and gave another example of the "humility" musicians of previous generations had with papa wemba who was going to house of the then newly recruited guitarist ping pong and without naming him, koffi who was going to modogo abarambwa's house to learn the way modogo sings and throw some of his tactics into his own voice, but nowadays no way on earth jb werra fally ferre fabregas heritier or whoever would do it,but rather its the guitarist who will go to his house and wait for hours sometimes before leader arrives or wakes up and franck asks whether its not the fans who influenced the change as to say it would be shameful for leader to leave his luxurious house to come in a popular area and he says he believes you can get somebody used to something new so if they start doing it at some point it wont shock people anymore
and our musicians of these days,do not realise being as open minded as papa wemba or papa lutumba could be would be great for their image, they limit themselves to i have done this and this albums with great success,i have this and this cars, these trophies, while they can make a step further by widening their range of vision and gives yet another example with papa wemba eating with pepe kalle and asking him when will he come to sing a song in viva la musica, and tells him to bring dilu dilumona along with him and pepe kalle responded to papa bring kester and they did the song amena in viva la music and franck asks whether such things are still people today with how things have changed, and mosaka says everything is possible as long as our musicians get rid of that unnecessary pride and ego and what makes also a great difference is that the older guys were surrounded by a vast majority of people directly contributing to their music(high level writers, employees of banks or doctors or whatever "honourable" job but who could write some songs, managers) but now musicians are mainly surrounded with people to feed their ego and who do not know anything special about music so they are not aware of the rights things to do for the good of music
he goes back on papa wemba saying not only did he allow several musicians to do solo albums he also sang in it and gave examples and adds that jb tried to do the same thing and said in a reunion that people were leaving groups just because they want to record solo albums so he allows anybody from the singers to the bodyguards to release albums in his group but unfortunately so far all those who tried ended up finishing album outside of the group and says he has enough songs himself to release like 7 albums but he waits for the right moment to do it
he says for him jb and werra could cause a big change in congolese music if they accept to take the big brother role and call younger artists to discuss and potentially start projects, koffi is in an even better position being the remaining active legend of those generations(for him ya jossart is too calm and laid back to be given that responsability)but unfortunately for koffi he has a reputation following him which tends to make artists fearing to approach him once they fallout, but he would be happy if koffi or whoever of jb werra or anybody takes that role and changes things  because for him there are too much talent in drc and instead of always thinking you are doing bigger things when you sing with a foreign artist they can do great things by working with each other in drc and their work will surely blossom over africa

This all is also about the economic situation of DR Congo and the education. Im sure that over 10 years the situation will be worser. The polemic era 1998-2002 had a bad influence. Back in the days he had alot of face-face concerts (Viva vs Victoria, Zaiko vs OK Jazz, etc.) to see who's the best instead of insulting people.

I'm still learning the people behind the scene in Congolese music, so forgive my ignorance. What songs is Blanchard Mosaka responsible for composing? He is very knowledgeable of the industry! I'm surprised I don't hear from him as much as the others

Thank you, this guy is a legend! Is Blanchard is living well financially? I hope he was given the money he deserved, he has blessed these artist with a lot of classic songs for many years!

I wish the Congolese music industry had something similar to SACEM to protect musicans and ensure they are properly paid for their work.

I am familar with the works of Pascal Poba, Elderado, and Do Akongo but do you know who Bogus Bompema is and what has he written? Also what is a proverb compared to the song's actual lyrics?

JB is ome of the most if not the most generous leader in BCBG if someone goes out of BCBG it is because of problems with the old heads (JDL, Seguin and Kibens)

Was Sagess or Madame La Tortue the song by Bill given by Blanchard Mosaka?

JB does not say anything that Mosaka gives or writes songs for other musicians ? How did Mosaka enter in the music industry and when did he start being close to JB ?

mosaka had been around the industry for ages, his elder brother being wenge musica's first drummer, and himself played mbonda in a wenge concert in 87 or so,then he's been around djouna mumbafu and pepe kalle a lot  but keeping close eye on wenge until he joined not long before the split when jb was already preparing omba and co
at the beginning jb was not liking it because it was without authorization and he was punishing him with him missing europe tours but after he allowed him,for example now adolphe is working on an album and has 20 songs to pick from and half are mosaka's
