Why wouldn't his family want Felix and his band members to help with his medical cost? Him being unable to see will keep him from performing and making money, which could help his entire family.

to explain things better,when it started  cultura took him in a hospital where every cultura member and a certain number of their families have automatic free treatment where it was diagnosed then as something not too serious
then he was still performing with cultura and few times later eclipse and dancers noticed he started walking like somebody who cant see properly and called wazekwa in europe and the day of rehearsal after that he came with somebody holding his hand to walk which confirmed it was something serious
and he went  back to the cultura hospital where they tested blood pressure of his eyes and they found it weird that he could not see because everything seemed normal,then eclipse who was once victim of a mystic attack of a guy who came to apply for tenor atalaku role (and who was of course fired immediatly) suggested a pastor who could pray for him to heal quickly since it seemed clearly something not logical given the high technology of that hospital
and then the family stepped in preferring to take him to those type of pastors who in reality are more hidden sorcerers and businessmen than pastors,chaka had bought a landplot years before on advice of his "big bro" genta thans to a lucrative concert in cardozo mwamba's hometown and was starting to build his house
those guys convinced him to give that house and some of the things he had where he was renting(hd tv and things like that) and he was so desperate that he accepted,while at that time his younger brother cedric ya mado not able to get involved properly due to suspicion  of some family members on him being behind it for success of ya mado
cedric then called eclipse again to tell him they should do something because the pastors are ruining his brother and nothing happens
and cultura went again to take him to an even more equipped hospital and things were similar his eyes showed no sign of somebody who can lose sight for ever and family comes again with idea of a pastor who claims its somebody in cultura who did him that and wazekwa wants to bring whole cultura to that church to expose who ever could do that but the pastor refuses and brainwashes the family to deny access to cultura  and refuse money from wazekwa and obvious it gets wazekwa super furious and he wants to let them deal with their business since he tried everything,but as he loves nono too much he calms down within three days and organises a reunion with the group and influent members to find ideas to help nono and they decide he should go to europe and administration starts steps to get him a visa and in the meantime he was still receiving his salary despite not working for more than a year,and some family members order the younger brother who goes to receive his money not to give him that money and  his wife starts cheating with another man and end ups living with nono remaining alone at home with his younger bro who is at university and family when they hear about europe trip take nono again to a church where he is made to drink potions which change nothing on his case
their elder brother who is in europe tries to convince wazekwa that he agrees with that idea of taking him to europe and he is willing to do 50 50 with them on taking care of whatever required but he does not come to kin as he announced
so the rest of the family maintain him in that church and  reject visits from cultura and eclipse is so upset that he almost risks an accident while driving back with guylain essamba after having been denied access
the younger bro still tries to seek cultura help since he sees their efforts,they pay his salary,they bring food for him and so on and when he gets visa he goes to announce to family that cultura got visa for him and family says no they will take care of their children

eclipse confirms and reveals his best friend in the group nono chaka died and the family did not even informed them,its one of the house employees who leaked to one of nono's friends then the friend called eclipse
he apparently suffered a stroke also with all what he had to endure ... RIP
eclipse reveals that nono had been telling him for years that he was attacked and that they would not succed because he belives in God
and the pire petit of nono who informed him told him things he cant say on tv,and strangely enough there is nobody at nono's house nor in the family house,they have ran away and his wife went  some time ago to angola with his kids( and another man)
and he believes based on things reported to him that some people in the family were jealous because he had bought that house,and was co owning a clothes shop with eclipse so he was not wealthy but he was good which sometimes for people is already seen as being wealthy

I am so disgusted by how Nono's family behaved of course the family wanted him to die and surely they will surely have done something spiritual to attack him (maybe with the wife being involved too) the sad fact is that there are a lot of families in Congo that comes from straight poverty and get so much entitled when they see ome of their relatives with money. Not omly Nono had these problem but also Ali Mbonda and many others. I can udnerstand that Congo is the poorest country in the world but I would expect at least the family to show the respect they should owe to the guy who payed with his work everything. Unfortunately we Africans have too much of a big heart and if someone eats or gets successful he also wants his family and friends to be successful.
R.I.P. Nono Chaka I have loved his work in Faux Mutu Boye despite that part was sanged by Eclipse
