None of them created that style. Its a guy who used to live in Mbanza Lemba who learned them that. The same guy used give them cris and sell generics to them. But its Apocalyps who started it in Quartier Latin, with Goldberg (he changed his name then into Napoleon) also doing it, but nobody was noticing it since that his name wasn't really big at time and his animations weren't really convicing people. TThen when Brigade rejoined Quartier Latin after spending some times in Maison Mere, he also started to do that and continuing with that style in Maison Mere. The then newly recruited Mukusa Ya Mbwa was also sometimes doing it, but he wasn't often appearing in concerts like Goldberg, Apocalyps and Brigade.

How come that guy in Mbanza Lemba never got popular? He created the animations and style, what does he get in return for giving those away to Brigade and Apocalypse?

Did brigade and apocalypse take cries from each other? Apocalypse said he apparently was the creator of Brigade's cri in sous sol (which is kind of believable).

Because he stayed underground. You got plenty guys like that. There used to be a video on youtube of 2007 uploaded by Espelisa in 2015. It was about the guycomplaining that Brigade didn't pay him for the Temps Present-generique (after that Maison Mere would modified the generic after that), but the video  got deleted recently. It was a DVD-compilation produced by Eti Kimbukusu which included Papa Wemba's interview where he attacked Jospeh Kabila's governement and the interivew of Baby Ndombe with Marc Tabu (talking about his time in Maison Mere and the creation of Les Marquis). It was titled as Papa Wemba - Soni Soni.

The guy was getting some beer, clothes and little money to buy some money, not really money were can live from. Back in the days you used to have alot of guys like that who used to sell guitar paritions to solists, guys who used to sell songs, cries. Pascal Poba for example was only receiving expensive clothes when they selled songs like Maman to Papa Wemba, Feux de l'Amour & Recto Verso to JB Mpiana, Voyage Mboso& La Vie to Adolphed Dominguez, etc.
