one year before that,jb was invited to perform there and was nonimated along les marquis in best african group or central african i think but  he prefered coming to france to watch a football match,and he was ex-aequo or slightly behind les marquis in the votes if i remember well
but anyway he was not interested in koras otherwise he would have signed for monsoh or jps who tried to attract him with promise of trophies, this is not the first or the last "weird" whoice he's made(cf the missed opportunities topic)

That was an excellent performance, this is when Thierry Mogratana got his chance to prove that he was equally good.

 for me this is one of the best maison mere performances, thankfully for mogratos flamme remained in europe then,this is certainly the biggest memory we can have of him as  a maison mere soloist on stage
