Yup, just like Werra with Zenith he barely promoted the event and only started like 2 weeks before the due date lol. A press conference wasn’t going to just sell out the show, Ferre should’ve promoted it heavily. These guys think it’s still the 90s and 2000s where you just announce the concert get their staff to print posters all over Château Rouge and Matonge and get their staff to mobilise the whole of Paris lol times have changed.
At least Koffi has been promoting U Arena non stop through social media, concertsc interviews, whether it happens or not we’ll have to see.

look at the other concerts too promo has gone quiet, after the failure of werra and combattants popping up strong both on legal field and in interviews only somebody who loves challenges like koffi could have continued frontal promotion, all the rest went low profile hoping to  succeed in silence
i barely commented on last year's bercy once it happened  because i had a bad feeling that it would worsen things for other musicians,we are half a year or so from next france elections and another trouble at concerts would be suicidal for macron in terms of election and it would serve the unexpected announced challenger,tv polemist eric zemmour who despite being a son of immigration himself, surely makes nightmares about people from immigration and links every single problem of france to immigration
the main reason of lack of promotion is not just the negligence or overconfidence, but the combattants factor is undeniable, every single concert from the failed werra wemba concert has been associated with trouble so it  makes a strong case in favor of  combattants, and they always make the same mistake to be pictured at house of politicians or their office prior to coming so they "fuel" the pretext of combattants to embassies and french authorities that musicians are sent on a mission to break the opposition
if france was really not ok with combattants actions it would have stopped already long ago, they dont care since they have no special interest there whether our artists perform or not

This people are insane, If they're taking it that far it means that they have no other way of stopping Koffi's concert. and that case was dropped last year because of lack of evidence. combattant are evil, i don't know why people call them ba Ndeko, this guys are killing Congolese culture in the name of east congo... treat them like enemies, why Fally or Koffi fans don't start beating this guys up that the only lesson needed here  if not they will continue with their bs

I just catched up with a friend of mine who works in something around the mayor of paris and he said there was discussions between the authorities the hall and the producer and like i said due to the elections in a couple of months it would have been a massive scandal if they allowed big budget for security like it happened for fally, and not even for a french citizen but an african guy like ferre, while the immigration factor is weighing big in the discussions of imminent elections so they decided to cancel as they would not be able without big budget to cope with combattants and i also asked about koffi's concert and he was not too sure, unless very high personalities are involved like in fally's concert, but he thinks it might also be cancelled for the same fear of fueling macron's opponents  by "supporting trouble"

I don't know what movie you are watching but musicians are the last one to be called as the guys who are keeping the Congolese culture alive. They are killing it, how.many stories of dancers getting beaten, musicians not getting paid, people being forced.or suggested to get into deep spiritual game to get ahead?  Does Kabuya to you looks like someone who has benefited to be that long next to Fally! Do the dancers who were getting beaten by Koffi has benefited by being next to him? And have you forgotten all those songs made in exchange of super money (which of course they hadn't shared at all or had shared little of it) of Politicians who were no good for Congolese people? Combattants way are bad because they create animosity between us, but their message is totally understandable

Bro nothing that you said make sense

People who put Congolese music on the map are the same one killing it and the reasons you gave for that is just unbelievable

There's nothing reasonable about combatants message, only people with no brain to think for themselves go to or listen to what combatant have to say understandable or not

Yes. Because taking money from a useless politicians who steals money from his people to buy houses is surely what will push Congolese people forward. No one told Werra, Koffi and others to do those songs knowing that those politicians where good to nothing and now no one should stop combattants who are trying to break Congolese (certain Congolese) artist's career because Congo has a problem and Combattants are at least trying to do something about it.

Wow so the cancelled the concert not even postponed it but actually cancelled it. This is getting out of hand, something needs to be done because this is killing Congolese music. Ferre might have to put his pride aside and make that call to Fally and ask him how he was able to play at Bercy despite all the chaos.
Or moto asala le monde eza yo Nzambe tata, Kita okata po mokili trop matata, kata- Fally Ipupa

I find Congo DR's relations with France weird. How can an entire developed country with sophisticated security systems tolerate hooligans/criminals? That's more like a terrorist group being tolerated. If they have issues with Congolese politics, why not come back home and fight it out? How will barring musicians help them? They want musicians to turn into political fighters for combatants that are sitting comfortably in Europe? In my view, let these musicians open up new grounds like London Arena, Dubai, USA and Brazil.
