« on: June 07, 2020, 20:52 »

What the hell?. He was so young. Is it true? Or is it an hoax? Piroger said he was with Heritier and then it was working with Miel De Son. To be honest knowing Miel De Son if this death is confirmed it is super suspect. Anyway wow... I am speechless

From 4:51- 8:38

4:58 - 6:58

He appareantly died by hitting a current not cover wire and got fulminated

He got electrocuted?

Congolese Music / Re: JIPSON WTF IS THAT MAN
« on: June 04, 2020, 12:17 »
jipson was and i think still is with florentine,he reacted against nseka  but about his suspect behaviour  he got caught once with a pastor but it was outshone by another massive headline
on another note, ndombolhino claims he called him after posting him and he thought jipson would shout at him while jipson was over the moon that he had buzz

What do you mean he was caught? Like people saw him doing actual gay sex with another man or just being overly feminine near another man?

Why do I have the strong felling that most, if not all leaders have slept with every dancer that went through their band?

Bruh if JB Smashed the girl at 1:45 with the yellow t-shirt at the center is a lucky man.

Anyway I have heard that JB and Felix Wazekwa are the only one who do not sleep with dancers

Nah, Amida was about to block him from performing at Bercy because she caught him right in the middle of him in bed with I believe Nono Ba Diamant in the days leading to the concert. There are many other instances also

Felix has a clean image now, but he too was a savage in the 1999-2005 era when he became a big star. That Cafe Etienne Tshimanga guy was a bad influence on him

yeah indeed back when he was with cafe cafe tried to get him into every "bad" things his colleagues were doing as stars cafe was coaching him in everything including dressing,in 2009 when cafe was gone one of the richest women of drc was literally throwing her all to seduce him she approached him promised him any car on earth he'd want he said he is not into cars she tried several other things but she was failing to get him to the point of lets meet in hotel x in room x and he kept telling her" we can be friends and if you want you can sponsor for example the dancer but thats up to you"
i remember koffi heavily mocked him indirectly in two three interviews that he is a yuma and things like that, for sure if she had approached koffi jb werra or even fally ferre then they'd have grabbed it with two hands two feet and jumped into it lol
It's actually difficult for a leader musician  not to sleep with dancers than it is to sleep with them.

But given this kind of lifestyle by star musicians, how have they managed to live this long because I would imagine they are very vulnerable to contracting Sexually Transmitted Diseases including HIV. And before the year 2005, medicines for HIV was still very expensive so treatment was not always guaranteed.

Pretty much the whole Clan Wenge leaders are intact despite this lifestyle starting earlier on in their lives in the 90s apart from guitarist Blaise Kombo who died of an acvident. What's their secret?

P. S. Am not wishing any of them poor health. It's actually good to see them in their 50s now and still going strong.

My guess is they have more money than the average Congolese, so they can afford contraceptives and birth control. Also, a lot of these dancers are young and impressionable so they typically virgins when the leader enjoys them. When there's rules about the girls belonging to the boss, she's literally only sleeping with the boss.

Yes, but according Nseka he abandoned her in Matadi. Jipson used her (Florentine) often in his vocals when he was in Quartier Latin. For example in the song Arche de Noe.

Yikes! Can a Congolese artist come out as gay and still have a career? I suppose so since Papa Wemba was bisexual...

I appreciate your opinions and we have different opinions.

I think one thing that we need to stop talking about is black on black crime. It is a non-starter. Many African Americans do talk but where does it come from? Colonization and teaching of self-hatred by the powerful class. We need to stop legitimizing white supremacy by being too much into black on black crime stuff. I heard this from another black man at my job and I had to politely shut him down by point where it comes from.

We need to actually work hard to change the system because it is a system that encourages and demands for violence against people of color especially African Americans like us. Because if not, then the system does not function well (which is what we want). Therefore, we need to get people that believe in change and put in political positions but do also one thing. HOLD THEM to the fire and make sure they do what they say that they will promise. Once we do these things, then we will see a true change.

We as Africans must lead by example. We must end tribalism, nepotism, and other forms of corruption in politics so we can invest the monetary and human capital towards our people and infrastructure.

Africa has become the punching bag of political discourse and social science where we're being dismissed as ineffective people.

I feel bad for George Floyd, but, in the African context I want to ask what African American's have done for Africa and African issues. They are almost completely absent from any issues concerning the Mother Continent. Even when I studied there, at a prestigious High School in D.C. , I felt more discriminated against by African Americans than any other group.

Despite all this, Africans will drop all their domestic issues and go protest on behalf of African Americans. I can never forget the day Barack Obama tried to convince our leaders to accept homosexuality, luckily the Kenyan president was there to remind him of our African values. ( I got nothing against gays)

Point is; for once Lets Put Africa first.

Let America sort out its own domestic issues.

You're kidding, right? Lol

I wish her well! 2020 is not about to take away anymore legends

Back in days, Extra Musica was n1 with their album Etat Major, touring whole Black Africa and filling stadiums, getting mutiple awards. But they felt threatened by the succes of Extra Musica International who released Super Helico on the market (the original dance of helicopter) and the way they stole their n1 spot in Brazzaville. It forced them to give once again everything bringing with them the newly recruited Arafat who came from Extra Musica International and the reserve singers Papy Jah and Papy Bastin to Europe. They performed at Palais des Sports & Batalcan, toured in Europe and the United States. Like Etat Major, Shalai would be a big hit. It would confirm Doudou Copa as a grand chanteur with the song Horizon 2000 and people discover the talents of Papy Jah, Arafat & Papy Bastin.

I'm surprised Roga's ties to the President couldn't get them Visas to tour Europe during the ngulu affaire. It was downhill for them

Let's be fair, the guests are not children. They knew the risk and still accepted the face to face interview. Ado should do his interviews over Instagram live, WhatsApp, or some conference call. But if they want to see him for a sit down interview, it's their prerogative...

My knowledge may be limited but surely this is playback and not acoustic.
Any response?

Definitely a playback, there's no reverberation from the acoustic guitar and the space in the room.
