I’m surprised to see Kila Mbongo animating here and Abilisi dancing.

I remember Joss Diena and Rippason were left behind in Kinshasa during the concert but why? That Jose Senga is one unlucky guy; he danced in Bonjour Monsieur clip, had vocals on Mapendo, appeared in Kin clips of Yo Nani & Signature, but wouldn't add vocals on a Cultura album again until Et Apres.

If I'm not mistaken, Abillisi and Kila Mbongo would leave the group in Europe before recording Trop C'est Trop. Abillisi joined Academia when they were giving concerts in Europe, like Bozi Boziana's son (I forgot his name).

This was JB Mpianas final signal of the word: done. Anti Terri shouldn't have even been released

LMFAO! Let me guess, because Titina and Alain Mpela were gone that you didn't like the album? In my opinion, he should have recorded Anti-Terror with Les Pipiyus and then Chemin de Fer with the Kibens, Rio, ect.

Yes, when he heard that Zaïko was about to tour in Europe, he did everything to get Rocky Blanchard back. He gave him a car that didnt work and sended people to write letters for Belgian authorities to cancel those visa that Zaïko, claiming that Nyoka Longo was a Mobutist. Then when the tour cancel, Koffi mocked them and started to rehearse the Rond Point (which was a way to refer to Roundabout Kimpwanza where Zaïko used to rehearse and that Nyoka Longo was only turning on that roundabout, not being able to go anywhere). But on the end Rocky Blanchard
ended up by not getting on the Olympia-list.

So he didn't want Rocky back? He just wanted to ruin him?

I hope Titina and JB Mpiana are cool, I know he left Wenge BCBG on bad terms and over a misunderstanding of loyalty cause of Koffi arrival at his wedding.

He kept sleeping with dancers which made Koffi angry. Don’t forget that he went to Zaïko & Academia.
Yeah it was a big mistake from him to rejoin QL before Zaiko went for the europe tour, it was too bad he joined Academia kinda late just after Viagra and then the ngulu affaire preventing them from going on tour and then the group collapsing.

If he had been patient, he could have participated on Poison?

At least they can keep their composure in public.

Fally is having a mental breakdown. LOL. Fally is not used to be in a tough spot. Ferre went through so much if it was Fally, he would've lost his mind.

Fally is extremely insecure. I'm starting to believe what Soleil said about him.
You seem to really hate Fally.
Don’t forget Fally was a victim of so much stick from 2007 till 2014, and don’t believe anything Soleil says he’s been exposed for being a compulsive liar the past two months

Is Soleil jealous of Fally's success or did they have serious problem happen between them in Quartier Latin? I feel like the only people openly dissing Fally are the members who were difficult to handle from the beginning or bitter about their own career (Bouro Mpela, Soleil, and Kabose).

I actually enjoyed the cries of Anti-Terror very much, even more than Monde Arabe. My favorite songs are Décision, especially how Ficcare's guitar licks transitioned from the chorus to each singer's vocals. That level of noticable improvisation is absence in today's music!

This album had the best chorus since Toujour Humble, in my opinion. Rio, JDL, Kibens, and others made every song have a unique sound to each chorus. Even though I forgotten the lyrics with time, I still catch myself humming BK Le Sénateur and Nungu Nungu. Although Guy Mbuala remains my favorite rhumba, because it was one of the most romantic ballads I've ever heard. From that guitar solo from Pathy Moleso and JB Mpiana's vocals that concludes the song, you could tell how much JB Mpiana loved Amida.

KIbens writting. Talk about being over the top...

"Nzala naza n'ango pour toi eleki oy'a bana" lol
The hunger I have got for you exceeds that of the children

"Ten nayo homogene lokola mposo ya liki"

Your skin is homogenous like the skin of an egg lol

"Je te resterai fidèle lokola Arafat (the palestinina minister) toujour fidel asali te achanga jamias look"

I will stay faithful to you like Arafat stay true to himself and never changed his style

And my favourite one

"Le Pouvoir Publique, Ministère de la Santé ba pekisi yo promenade a pied batie ba cardiologue na ba nzela ponako prévenir ba kaya crise cardiaque, chérie reste a la maison sinon toko risque procés d'homicide"

The Public Power, The Health Minister have forbidden you to make walks on foot in the street, so they can prevent cases of heart attacks, baby just stay inside the hiuse, because if you go out we might get charged for homicide and go to court

Lol I have never laughed so much hard in my life hearing a line
Aaaah Kibens I wish to enter that guy's mind when he writes to know where this kind of inspirations comes from lol

He's our favorite member of BCBG for all the wrong reasons LMFAO!

he rejected an approach to join quartier latin  and went to jb's concert and performed a bit and asked or his backline to release a generique which was his original plan with his song egypito which would have been on temps present, then later on he was convinced to do an album

Sorry for reopening old post, I think he should have accept Koffi's offer, he could have more.money and start froma better place for a solo career like it happened with Ferre and maybe he wouldn't have all these problems with Fally

You know Masion Mere fans would have mobbed him lmao

805
So he mocked Ferre saying Ferre’s wasn’t a live acoustic and it shouldn’t be called that but yet he’s turned around and done the exact same thing looool

Lol. Is a way to humiliate Ferre. See how he sang Liputa (one of Fally if not Fally's biggest song) but let out every Ferre's song? Maison Mere could send everybody to make the acoustique but they have choosen a clown like Sanlara to humiliate Ferre.

I literally can't breathe, this was terrible LMFAO! Wouldn't Fally be offended by how awful he's interpreting his song?

806
I didn't know he could play any instrument

November '01 was the moment that Lebou decided to officaly leave Academia and start his solo career. The Volte Face single came out in Spring 2002.

. Gessac didn't bullied him out the group, because they didn't had a problem. CNN actually benefited from Wazekwa, a trip to Europe along with Mamale, Biva Rai and some others. CNN just used Wazekwa like Mamale to come back in Europe. Mamale after it tried to join Wenge BCBG, but it didn't work. CNN then stayed and was contacted some weeks later contacted by Lebou Kabuya who's from the same area like him, to work on the Volte Face project along with Silawuka Nguma, Bob Lorenzo, Biva Rai and co. like a nzong nzing, then Lebou went to Kinshasa to recruit musicians (Mirage, Chaleur and co), CNN & Pathy Bass having role as co-founders compared to musicians who partipacted as session musicians in Europe. But things didnt work out, so CNN went to join Wenge BCBG.

Mamale would have best benefited from Cultura, because BCBG had too many established members. Why was BCBG so preferable to him over Cultura if it's because of Wazekwa that he returned to Europe?

First animation was done by Denison Lutula and second by Antonio Sampaio. The same for Mademoiselle & Anga Michel. Ngonda Son only animated in Mobeti Mbonda.e

I think its both age & whiskey. He used to animate for Damien Aziwa along with Celluraire.

Thank you so much!

I disagree, the Congolese diaspora in America doesn't promote their artist with the same fervor as other Africans in America.

Is the atalaku the same guy @6:40? His voice sounds really changed! Either he was a teenager when he first starting animation or that whiskey deepened his voice lmao
