kie kie kie ferre has an incredible voicez but like all the congolese stars he sings sometimes strange things and pick strange song titles throughout the song he makes mystical hints, and pakajuma is ghetto of kinshasa where 3/4 of the population are prostitutes, drug addicts and stuff like that,it's nicknamed Kinshasa's Sodom
better than suite et fin and ingredients but come one werr YOU HAVE TO PROTECT THE LEGACY OF WENGE same goes for your friend jb i think thats enough,ok both of you try some of this stuff for commerical reasons but it can not become an habit its like seeing coupe decale ivorian guys make rumbas, nonsense
an album like titanic is impossible to realise unless you get jb,mpela;bula, aimelia again, makaba and mbokaliya on guitars and titina on drums, titanic is one of the rare everlasting albums of congolese music, and was done by musicians ALL in their peak in terms of artistic maturity and complementarity those types of albums you can line up whoever you want if they are not those who did the album you aim to reproduce,no way they can achieve, even those who did it i am not so sure after over 10 years take for example koffi's v12, difficult to re do it today without that incredible chorus babia-sam tshintu-modogo-suzuki-eric tutsi
for my bcbg all time favourite i pick this one
until today i wonder who gave them the idea of this song...
@Sylvester said: Hahahaha,i think the CD has sold really well, the polemic is working. But what is the case with the combattants, have they now decided to let the musicians like Ferre carry on with their music, last year they didn't want anyone buying music from the Paris and Brussels music stores but on Boite Noire we saw the queues of people buying the album at Chateu Rouge etc and people were getting minimum 2 CD's each,it's promising, hope the musicians will be allowed to play concerts in peace in Europe.
people are slowly starting to be hypocrites yes but there are still many radical combattants, who keep posting videos like" fally is not allowed to come to france","jb mpiana wanted" "werrason wanted" and many people who comment it seem to agree you know, the more times goes on the more the real reasons of their war against musicians for example, some gave their money for mabanga and never heard their name and several times, some had their woman of husband who slept with musicians and stuff like that the last time i went to chateau rouge, there were journalist interviewing people in streets and some people clearly said "we have peace now in our couples since musicians do not tour anymore and are forced to come here in maximum discretion" i thought at least marie paul who sung for tshisekedi in the campaign would be allowed and even sponsored by them to honour him but nothin, marie paul is disappointed anyway, time will tell i hope ot will continue cooling down ilke it has done the last weeks, three years ia enought its time to move on
kie kie ndombolhino is like that, even on his youtube accounts criticize him or his favourite artists(ferre, werra, koffi) and he strongly reacts even when what you said was completely fair what is weird about generiques,is that everybody thought fally ferre being younger and full of energy would give a torrid time to the likes of mpiana, koffi, werra, wazekwa, zaiko but so far they are very far
exactly, they are both at their third albums and there is already too much criticism about the way they are extremely present in the songs,in most of the cases they let most of singers sing together in a song at the end of the day, those guys get so little space that instead of singing something they go for mabanga like papa wemba once said they say two words then 10 names kie kie kie besides,i dont see congolese music as a music of solo artists, its very weird for me to be honest eimagine even a guy like soloist daddy bola is now solo, soon i wont be surprised to see yanki or roger ngandu become solo artists
