i will translate based on memory since i watched it live
he is asked about  why congolese music has gone down he says the environment surrounding congolese music has changed a lot, artists do not sell as much as they used to because piracy is much much bigger, donors are more concerned about their own glory than really investing for musicians like they used to and unlike in other countries there is not a proper policy from government to support artists...and about why these days rumbas are not having impact and only generiques are being hits he first says he is happy because some artists who used to diss him and toehr musicians about the fact they were too reliant on generiques to have success now are in the same situation, and he says for him as a writer he feels texts have becomed monotonous and too focused around love and especially more and more sex and also dancing is an universal language it catches people attention easier
he says he did generique leopards fimbu na fimbu to congratulate the national team over their trophy and he has received so far words of praise from kabose,jb mpiana, jules kibens...
he is asked why congolese artists do not like taking advice from people, and he says maybe the guys think because they have success it makes them untouchable and its not his case, his staff never hesitates to contradict him when they disagree and even his musicians all have a word to say and this impressed bassist and arranger lofombo when they recorded generique in his studio
and papy asks if  being the leader of a group means you have to be the best in everything, and he says no,and admits for example that most of cultura's singers are better than him  but he can do deeper voice than most of them(which he rarely uses properly)
and he says he is not the type of leader who wants everything by himself  and for himself he does contribute with lyrics,he does play guitar on some albums and sometimes also gives animation but he lets the guys express themselves
and he says some leaders for example can not handle having a group member who is more handsome and good looking than them, whereas him for example is not bothered at all of having guys like champs elysees who look better and is even basically against  leaders forcing musicians to wear uniforms so that only them can shine with their clothes
he reveals an anecdot told to him by beniko popolipo about evoloko jocker which was that a guy came for a test and played well, and there was barbell around and the guy lifted it  several times to warm up, evoloko refused him just because of that ,saying he feared the guy would beat them if they did not pay him
still talking about the reasons why congolese music went down,he mentions the fact groups are not promoting a same dance and animation anymore, and laments it because now unlike the past if you use somebody's animation you'll get attacked and criticised whereas in the past there was some unity which helped ndombolo blossom abroad, and says he would be happy if another artist used fimbu like for example his friend jb used nzoto ya maman in the past and he never went to tv to complain about that
he is asked about generiques who are doing well recently and starts with je ne te calcule pas of jb saying he likes everything from it,clip and generique itself and adds sincerely that he is a great fan of jb,he is then askeed for more and says  ferre's seben and tells ferre he should keep promoting it tucheze is nice but seben deserves more promotion,he is still asked for more with papy clearly wanting him to talk about selfie, and says libre parcours 2 and zalkalaha, and papy finally makes a strong hit about what he wanted to hear and he says ekoti te is obscene and papy quickly understands he did not want to play polemic game and switches to another thing

I don't care if it's rhumbas or generiques as long as Congolese music is progressing then it's fine. Why not have everyone play their own stuff and compete with eachother then play the same animation. Yes we know that Fally and Bouro were way better dancers then Koffi and Ferre was a way better singer then Werra but I've never heard it themselves say it in public even though we all know it.  If a band member is getting more spotlight then the leader then that would be interesting. And about Champs, Wazekwa was lying about that lol.

he's been saying this about champs elysees for years he even said that he had a hard time with his musicians because the guy's girlfriends or sidekicks were flirting with champs as they found him attractive and it lead to endless complaints to him  and conflicts in the group
and used to joke a lot that his "rival" in terms of  good looks in the group was champs

Wazekwa is always for real...he wins my respect all the time. He is always like he does not need anybody's validation or approval  before he gets to keep anything real, therefore, he would rather say it as it is. Nice one!

lol he is getting slaughtered for not saying positive on selfie,as if koffi would even admit he knows a guy called wazekwa without making a big fool of him let alone say fimbu is good  :D :D :D
